Young Mula‘s princess Shanell explains how YM are still a family after all of these years and Gudda Gudda confirms that we are currently in “Carter V Season” with Tha Carter V album being the next project the label will drop.

Weezy says that he doesn’t just handpick the artists to sign to his record label, he actually raises them. He also mentions that he has been doing music since his mom gave him a name and that his defining moment is waking up in a hospital bed after he shot himself when he was 12-years-old and the doctor telling him that he made it!

The 2014 BET Awards took place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California last night. Lil Wayne attended the awards show with his Young Money artists and also performed at the event.

Weezy F Baby performed his “Krazy” single live for the very first time before going into “Believe Me“, which was supposed to be with Drake, but for some unknown reason he was a no-show. Wayne also joined Chris Brown and Tyga to perform the smash record “Loyal“.

Young Money picked up the award for “Best Group” at the BET Awards and you can watch most of the label walk up on stage to collect the award and give a speech, as well as the live performances, in videos after the jump below!

Nicki Minaj and Drizzy were also winners for solo awards on the evening. During Nicki‘s speech, she brought Tunechi up on stage with her and thanked him. Click here to watch that clip!

Lil Wayne and Drake have both been announced as performers at the 2014 BET Awards, which will be taking place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California on June 29th.

Unfortunately, Weezy was not nominated at this year’s awards show, but his label Young Money and his artists Drizzy and Nicki Minaj were all nominated.

I wonder if Tunechi and Drizzy Drake will be performing together, or separate? It would be dope to see them perform “Believe Me” live together again!
