Tyga recently sat down with HotNewHipHop at GOOD Studios in Los Angeles for a one on one interview that you can watch below.

During their conversation, T-Raww spoke on idolizing Lil Wayne, as well as recalled listening to Wayne‘s mixtapes in his bedroom when he was younger to wish one day he will be able to rap with him, which came true!

The former Young Money rapper also discussed the different lessons he has learned from being around 2 people he calls lyrical geniuses – Weezy and Kanye West.

A couple of weeks ago, Tyler, The Creator released his “Cherry Bomb” documentary. Unfortunately, I have not managed to watch it yet, but I did see a clip online of Lil Wayne‘s part in the doc.

In the clip, Tunechi can be seen explaining why Tyler, The Creator changed the rap game, as well as how people are only hearing Tyler‘s music and not listening to it. Tune also shared some words of wisdom:

“Work hard, be somebody, be something more than what you see in the mirror. Let the world be your mirror, don’t let them judge you, cause the mirror can’t judge you. You judge what you see in the mirror.”

On the night of the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards at 4AM, The Skateboard Mag caught up with Lil Wayne for an interview that appears in the latest issue of their magazine. The interview took place at Paul Rodriguez’ skatepark in California where Weezy was having a skateboarding session.

They talked about when Wayne first started skating, when he first noticed skaters listening to his music, who the first skateboarders he met where, the comparisons between skating and creating music, who his favorite skaters are, and more.
