As it is #ThrowbackThursday today, here is some footage of Lil Wayne‘s appearance on BET’s “106 & Park” show over 15 years ago on January 10th, 2006.

While on the show, Weezy explained how he injured his wrist while playing basketball, as well as wanting to shoot his “Hustler Musik / Money On My Mind” music video inside The Carter building in New York City from the movie “New Jack City” before he then premiered the visual.

For an early 37th birthday gift and to say thank you for joining them on their North American tour, Blink-182 presented Lil Wayne with a special blunt.

The rock band gifted Wayne this blunt while on stage during their final show together at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City on September 20th. Weezy even brought his homie T@ out on stage to light the blunt for him.

Lil Wayne has been announced as a headliner for this year’s Governors Ball Music Festival at Randall’s Island Park in New York City.

The 9th annual festival will be taking place from May 31st to June 2nd and will also include live performances from Tyler, The Creator, Jorja Smith, Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti, Vince Staples, Nas, SZA, and plenty more.
