Lil Wayne Stopped & Searched By Federal Agents In Miami

Lil Wayne Stopped & Searched By Federal Agents

Federal agents from the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) stopped and searched Lil Wayne earlier this week when he landed in Miami’s Opa-Loca Airport. The good news is, Weezy didn’t pull a T.I. and instead he is following his probation rules and is staying clean. You can read what TMZ reported below:

Lil Wayne had one hell of a greeting party at Opa-Loca Airport in Miami earlier this week — where the rapper was stopped and searched by federal agents after he got off his plane TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us multiple agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency performed a contraband search on Weezy… who’s currently on felony probation stemming from incidents involving drugs and guns.

But Weezy was squeaky clean — so the agents let the rapper go on his way with no further incident.

Lil Wayne Banned From Alcohol & Drugs For 3 Years

According to TMZ (who got their hands on Wayne’s probation documents), Lil Wayne is not allowed to consume one single drop of alcohol, prohibited from knowingly associating with any person engaged in criminal activity or any person with a criminal record, and cannot possess illegal drugs, toxic vapors or controlled substances for the next 36 months. Lil Wayne’s Lawyer Speaks On Probation Stipulations

Lil Waynes Lawyer Speaks On Probation Stipulations

We have some great news concerning Lil Wayne‘s probation stipulations. James Tilson, Weezy‘s lawyer, spoke with XXLMag.com yesterday and spoke on his probation. Here is what Tilson stated:

“Now he’s on unsupervised probation, which means he doesn’t have very many conditions at all. The Florida office may have something for him to sign there as well. However, for all intents and purposes, once he leaves Arizona there’s nothing else he has to do here.”

Basically, this means that Tunechi will not be drug tested, which could be good news for Weezy 😉 We will probably learn more about his stipulations following his release, including whether or not he can leave the country to do an international tour.

Lil Wayne Plead Guilty To Arizona Charges & May Not Face Any Time!

Lil Wayne Plead Guilty To Arizona Charges & May Not Face Any Time

Rapper Lil Wayne may not have to spend any time behind bars in Arizona on drug and weapon charges once he gets out of jail in New York, after entering a plea agreement with prosecutors in Yuma County Superior Court Friday morning.

During a short change of plea hearing, in which he appeared via video feed from a New York jail, Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug. The charge stems from a Jan. 22, 2008, incident in which the rapper’s tour bus was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, 78 miles east of Yuma, where authorities said they found cocaine, Ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus.

A search of the bus by Drug Enforcement Administration agents yielded nearly four ounces of marijuana, just over an ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of Ecstasy and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. DEA agents then arrested Carter.

Officials also found a .40-caliber pistol registered to Carter, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper is currently serving an eight-month jail term in New York after pleading guilty last October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He admitted to having a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun on his tour bus. He began serving his sentence in March.

Carter, who has been one of music’s most profitable figures in recent years, could receive 36 months of probation for the Yuma charge, which is scheduled to begin once his New York sentence is over, according to the terms of the plea agreement.

In exchange for Carter‘s guilty plea, charges of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia against him were dismissed.

Superior Court Judge Mark Wayne Reeves, who is presiding over the case, will sentence Carter at 8:15 a.m. on June 30. – YumaSun

This is great news ❗ If Tunechi was found guilty, he could of been looking at another 8 or 10 years behind bars.
