Lil Wayne Speaks To 2 Chainz About Where He Gets His Drive & Motivation From

We have previously saw the start of this interview, and now we have another clip of 2 Chainz‘ sit-down conversation with Lil Wayne before their Amazon Music Live show on November 17th.

In this new video, Chainz recalls witnessing Wayne produce, engineer, rap, sing and play a live instrument all on one song, as well as going to sleep on the I Am Music tour while Weezy was working and waking up to him still recording.

When asking Tunechi where he gets his drive and motivation from, Tune answers his mother Jacida Carter. He also says that his mother taught him that when you love what you do, it will not seem like work at all and you will not know how to stop. Check it out below!

Williams also recalled asking Weezy to spit a rap for him and when he did, he questioned where he got his bars from and how he is able to rap like this to which Tunechi answered: “I don’t know, I’m just talented, I’m just gifted”. He also remembered his other brother Slim sending him one of Tune‘s songs and thinking he is going to be the next one to blow up!

Damian Lillard was the recent special guest on episode 46 of Shannon Sharpe‘s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, which you can watch in full below.

Towards the end of their conversation at the 1:00:35 mark, Shannon asked Dame D.O.L.L.A. what his Mount Rushmore of rappers and basketball players would be.

“Mount Rushmore of rappers, I’m gonna go with Tupac, I’m gonna go with Jay-Z. I’m gonna go… Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and I’mma go [with] Biggie.”
