This means that Weezy‘s latest project has been streamed and purchased over 500,000 times since it was released at midnight on September 27th.

Kodak Black & Lil Wayne Codeine Dreaming Goes Platinum

After going Gold earlier this year, the RIAA have confirmed Kodak Black and Lil Wayne‘s “Codeine Dreaming” collaboration was certified Platinum on August 17th.

This means that the Infamous and Ben Billions-co-produced single, which can be found on Black‘s Project Baby 2: All Grown Up, has surpassed over 1 million in streams and sales since it was released last year.

Less than a year after going quintuple Platinum, DJ Khaled‘s “I’m The One” collaboration with Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper has now been certified sextuple Platinum.

According to the Recording Industry Association Of America, the Nic Nac-produced single that appears on Khaled‘s Grateful album has sold and been streamed over 6,000,000 times since it was first released on April 28th, 2017.

Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III” Album Is Now Eligible For A Quintuple Platinum Certification

Lil Wayne Tha Carter 3 Album Is Now Eligible For Quintuple Platinum

According to Chart Data, Lil Wayne‘s iconic album, Tha Carter III, is now eligible for a 5x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with 3.97 million in traditional sales and 10.5 million in sales/streams from the singles.

If you didn’t already know, 10 streams of a song now equals 1 album sale. So if you do the math, you can see that the singles have earned over 1.05 million in sales, which makes the total of Weezy‘s classic album at 5.02 million sales.

Thanks to the recent 10 year anniversary of the project on June 10th, C3 re-entered on the Billboard 200 chart at No. 163 and jumped 230% in pure sales! Do you think this is Tunechi‘s best album?

After “Successful“, “HYFR“, “The Motto“, and “Forever” all received new certifications on June 29th, another Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration also earned a new certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on this date.

The RIAA have confirmed Drizzy‘s “Miss Me” single featuring Wayne, which appears on Thank Me Later, has been certified Platinum aka been purchased and streamed over 1,000,000 times since first being released on June 1st, 2010.
