DJ Drama Gives An Update On His & Lil Wayne Dedication 6 Mixtape

After first getting word that Lil Wayne was working on a Dedication 6 mixtape in 2014, then getting a hint it would be Wayne‘s next official project in 2016, and then getting confirmation it would be released in 2017, we have a new update on the tape.

For his cover story with Rolling Out magazine, DJ Drama has revealed that the status of D6 is now “it’s going to happen”, but he wouldn’t give a release date. He even mentioned that Weezy and Mack Maine are asking are him for beats for the mixtape.

Lil Wayne Gives An Update On His Cash Money Situation, Talks Eminem, New Orleans Murders, New Group LAT & More

Lil Wayne rarely does interviews nowadays, but here is a new interview Wayne did on Saturday with Wild Wayne from New Orleans’ radio station Q93 to promote his upcoming second annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” taking place next weekend.

Throughout the 24-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on the first annual “Lil Weezyana Fest”, if he ever gets tired of rapping, the “new group” of rappers in today’s hip-hop game, Sqvad Up, Eminem, his “Gone ‘Til November” book, murders in his hometown including Toya Wright‘s brothers, how the ColleGrove album with 2 Chainz came about, and more.

Tunechi also revealed who exactly is signed to his Young Money record label, the status of his current situation with Birdman and Cash Money Records, and mentioned Flow and Kevin Gates have been replaced by himself and HoodyBaby to Gudda Gudda‘s L.A.T (Loyalty Amongst Thieves) group!

T-Pain Explains The Current Status Of His & Lil Wayne T-Wayne Collaboration Album

T-Pain recently sat down with Brittany Lewis from GlobalGrind.com backstage during 2015 SXSW at The FADER Fort in Austin, Texas for a one on one interview about various subjects, which you can check out below.

One of the subjects that he was asked about was if the T-Pain and Lil Wayne collaborative album, T-Wayne, is still happening. Pain says that every time he tries to release the project, there is always something going on with Weezy (currently it’s his label situation).

Even though he personally doesn’t think it’s a good time right now, T-Pain does say that Tunechi is still down to drop the project, but he also doesn’t want to at this moment in time. He also mentioned that him and Tune are still sending songs back and forth to each other for T-Wayne!
