Travis Barker recently sat down with Big Boy on his TV show in Los Angeles, California for an interview.

During their conversation, Travis played a game of rating rapper’s face tattoos with either a “fire” sign or a “poop” sign, which you can watch below.

At the 3:45 mark, Travis Barker gave Lil Wayne‘s face ink a “fire” sign and mentioned that he has to give Wayne (and Birdman) credit for being one of first rappers ever to make tatts on their face look cool.

The Blink-182 drummer also revealed that Tunechi once told him he was the reason why Tune continued to tattoo his body all over. Barker even added that he has been inspired by Weezy his whole life. Don’t forget that these two have a new collaboration on the way!

Fat Joe Talks Witnessing Lil Wayne Come Up With His Verse On DJ Khaled’s “We Takin’ Over” & Says All New Rappers Owe Wayne A Favor [Video]

Fat Joe Talks Witnessing Lil Wayne Come Up With His Verse On DJ Khaled We Takin Over & Says All New Rappers Owe Wayne A Favor

For episode 253 of Complex’s “Everyday Struggle” series, special guest Fat Joe sat down with DJ Akademiks and Nadeska to speak on various subjects that you can check out below.

At the 46:30 mark of their conversation, Joey Crack discussed Lil Wayne killing him on DJ Khaled’s “We Takin’ Over” single, called Wayne the “best rapper on earth at that time”, and told a story of what Weezy‘s recording process was like for his verse on “We Takin’ Over“, which included him standing in front of some big speakers at The Hit Factory and coming up with “I am the beast, feed me rappers or feed me beats” line.

Joe also mentioned that he owes Tunechi so much for teaching him how to work as rappers in his era don’t work as hard as the new millennium rappers and said that he used to always think he had to keep on working himself as he knew Tune would be somewhere working.

Later on in the interview at the 51:30 mark, Fat Joe shared his thoughts on Lil Wayne‘s current situation with Birdman, as well as pointed out that all these new rappers owe Wayne a favor as they all rap exactly like him, but not as good.

Joey Crack even revealed that he loves Mr. Carter as a person, called him a true friend (which is rare in the music industry), and says Weezy is very intelligent, plus misunderstood as people will look at him and see the dreads and tattoos, but that’s not who he truly is!

She wouldn’t reveal what Mr. Carter has tattooed on his penis, but she did say it’s an image from tip to tail, so could it be a sign that reads “bad bitches only”?

This morning at 9:30AM, Lil Wayne made an appearance on Fox Sports 1’s “Skip And Shannon: Undisputed” show to chat with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, which of course we already know Wayne has the theme song for.

While on the show, Weezy spoke on his retirement tweets by saying he did them after an argument with what’s going on with his Cash Money situation, explained he hasn’t deleted them as he still feels “mentally defeated”, mentioned he will never work with Birdman ever again even if he pays him what he is owed, and how it felt to have a bunch of music artists like Drake, Young Thug and Kendrick Lamar come to his defense.

Before the interview wrapped up, Tune also talked about creating the “No Mercy” song, wanting to work with Michael Jackson and Prince, why there are no such thing as “remixes” anymore, how he became a Green Bay Packers fan in New Orleans, Aaron Rodgers, the only politics to himself are his kids, LeBron James, his tattoos, Kevin Durant‘s decision to sign to the Warriors, Dwayne Wade returning to Chicago, Colin Kaepernick‘s protest, being blessed enough to never deal with racists throughout his life, being saved by a white police officer when he shot himself, not thinking there is such thing as racism anymore after seeing every race at his shows, and plenty more!

Jonathan Mannion Talks Shooting ColleGrove Artwork, 2 Chainz Explains Why Lil Wayne Is A Living Legend

In a recent interview with Rebecca Haithcoat for Instagram Music, 2 Chainz and Jonathan Mannion (who shot the cover) discuss all about the artwork for ColleGrove.

Jonathan talked about how he photographed Lil Wayne while on set of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” in February after shooting Tity Boi a couple of weeks beforehand:

“I set up a portable studio behind [Wayne’s] trailer on the set of ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’. With 2 Chainz, I shot him about two weeks before that, in a studio in Los Angeles. It was me and a retoucher. I was like, it really has to look like these tattoos sink into his face as if they’re his own.”

Chainz spoke on coming up with the idea for the ColleGrove album artwork, having to slap himself sometimes to realize that Tunechi is one of his realest friends, and why he believes Tune is a “living legend”:
