Drake has revealed a list of his top 5 favorite rappers of all time for the first time in his career and it includes his mentor Lil Wayne.
Responding to an Instagram post by OVO Hush, the 6 God commented with: “My top 5 is Biggie, Hov [JAY-Z], Wayne, Young Tony, and [Andre] 3000 since nobody asked”.
If you didn’t already know, Young Tony is a rapper from Toronto who also goes by the name of Hush! I wonder if there is anyone out there who does not have Wayne in their top 5 list?
For this week’s “Feature Friday” installment, I have picked a song from Murda Mil called “Ride Out” featuring Lil Wayne, B.G. and Beanie Sigel.
The Mannie Fresh-produced track appears on Mil‘s debut studio album, Street Scriptures, which was released back in 2001.
“Now BLUCKA! Let ’em burn; Dump him off in a lake and have his family concerned; Then run all in his house and take his money, and his children”

Jayson Tatum Says Lil Wayne Is In His Top 5 Favorite Artists List & Would Love A Name-Drop On “Dedication 7” [Video]
Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson recently chopped it up with Jayson Tatum for episode 35 of their “All The Smoke” podcast (see below), which is of course the same podcast Lil Wayne appeared on last month.
Around the 54:00 mark of their interview, Jayson was asked about music and went on to name his top 5 music artists. Weezy, who the professional NBA athlete called a G.O.A.T., was mentioned in this list along with JAY-Z, Drake, The Notorious B.I.G., and Nelly.
Not long after this conversation, the Boston Celtics player was asked which music artist he would love to have name-drop him in one of their songs and he answered with Tunechi or Yo Gotti. He then added it would be great to hear Tune reference his name on one of his next mixtapes like a Dedication 7!
For #ThrowbackThursday today, here is a full page scan that was dedicated to Lil Wayne from inside the April 2004 issue of Vibe magazine.
Wayne reveals his favorite places to visit in his hometown of New Orleans and why, which includes Canal Street, The Praline Connection, Walmart, and more.

In their conversation, which you can check out below, Kidd recalls a story of one time being on tour with Lil Wayne and when they arrived to the venue for a concert in Alabama, there were only 10-20 people there.
Kidd says Tunechi had the attitude of “I don’t care if there was only 1 person here, they are still here to see me perform”, and so he did. He also mentioned that Tune and Nivea performed a brand new song together that is still unreleased to this day as all of this was during the time they were dating.
The former Young Money rapper says he loved the track so much that he actually jumped in the crowd and jammed out to it with the fans. He even still tells Wayne every time he sees him to release the record. After sharing this story, Kidd mentioned that he felt disappointed when he read the rumor of Weezy cancelling his set for one of the stops on his joint tour with Blink-182, due to low ticket sales, as it made him think back of what happened in Alabama!
BET have released a bonus never-before-seen clip from their “#FindingBET” special with Nivea that took place back in 2018.
In the video, which you can watch below, Nivea explains how Lil Wayne first got her number by telling a little white lie, how he proposed to her in an elevator in Rhode Island, and her relationship with The-Dream.
The Georgia singer also talked a little bit about the amazing Wayne song “Something You Forgot” that leaked online years ago by saying she knew it was definitely about her from the “You called me ‘Butter’, I called you ‘Bay'” line as that is what they used to call each other!
