There is no word on what they were all working on, but it could of been a song for one of Wayne‘s upcoming projects, a song for Nicki‘s new album that she will drop this year, or even another Young Money compilation.

Mack Maine Confirms Lil Wayne Dedication 6 Mixtape Will Be Released Next Year

For anyone who is hoping Lil Wayne and DJ Drama will release the sixth installment of their Dedication mixtape series before the year ends, Mack Maine has gone on Instagram to confirm that the project will now be dropping in 2017.

“Dedication………..Seis #2017 #FreeC5”

Back in August, Weezy confirmed he was working on Dedication 6 and that it would be released “soon”. Drama also warned us fans to get ready for D6 during a nightclub appearance a few months ago.

However, it looks like we will now have to wait until next year before we can hear the mixtape, which isn’t too bad as 2017 is only 11 days away, but let’s hope Dedication 6 drops more towards the top of the year!
