Mack Maine Reveals Lil Wayne Will Drop A New Album Called Velvet This Year While On Set Of Chico

While on set of Roy Demeo and Lil Wayne‘s “Chico” video shoot in Miami last week, Mack Maine chopped it up with REVOLT for a little interview about the upcoming projects from Young Money.

The YM President revealed Wayne will be dropping 3 albums this year – the L.A.T collaboration project with Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby, the long-delayed Tha Carter V, and a new project called Velvet.

Mack also mentioned that Drake and Nicki Minaj will be releasing new projects in 2017, as well as solo mixtapes from Gudda and Hood. You can read exactly what he said after the jump below!

On Set Of Dizzy & Lil Wayne Heaven Video Shoot In Miami

Last Friday, Dizzy aka Raw D.I. and Lil Wayne shot a music video for their “Heaven” single that is being directed by The Plug Muzik.

You can check out a picture above and a pic below of Tunechi on set of the video shoot. If you haven’t yet heard the Ray Luminais-produced collaboration, click here to do so.

From the photos, it looks like Weezy shot his parts at his TRUKSTOP skate park in Miami, Florida (just like the “Skate It Off“, “Selsun Blue“, “No Problem“, “Do It“, and “Just Right For Me” videos). Kidd Kidd and Juvenile will also be making cameos in the “Heaven” visual!

Behind The Scenes Of Wale & Lil Wayne Running Back Video

Wale and Lil Wayne shot a music video for their upcoming single called “Running Back” on Friday in Atlanta, Georgia.

We previously heard 2 snippets of the collaboration back in August (here and here), so hopefully we are getting close to the release of the collabo if they are now shooting a visual for it.

It was also back in July when we first got word Wale and Tunechi had recorded a new song at the Record Plant studio in Los Angeles on June 27th and that they were going over concepts for a music video.

We saw a few pictures at the weekend, and now we can watch some behind the scenes footage from Jeezy and Lil Wayne‘s “Bout That” video shoot.

The D. Rich-produced collaboration will appear on Jeezy‘s upcoming Trap Or Die 3 album, which will drop October 28th, but there is currently no word on if the visual will premiere before then.

Also in the behind the scenes clip (see below), we can hear a preview of what the single will sound like. However, we will have to wait for the full song to be released before we can hear what Weezy‘s verse will sound like!

If you missed it yesterday, a 30-second snippet of the “Skip And Shannon: Undisputed” theme song surfaced online and the full version is set to be released later this month on iTunes via Cash Money Records.

In the behind the scenes clip, which you can watch below, the producer of the track, Jared ‘Jingle’ Gutstadt, also calls Weezy the greatest rapper of all time and says it’s a dream come true that he has worked with him!
