Music video director Colin Tilley recently chopped it up with XXL about directing Lil Wayne‘s “Krazy“, Young Money‘s “Senile“, DJ Khaled‘s “No New Friends“, and Chris Brown‘s “Look At Me Now” visuals.

In the interview,, Colin explained how he came up with the idea to put Tunechi in a white family for the “Senile” video, as well as remembered how Tune shocked every one on set of the “No New Friends” video when he walked out of his trailer rocking a XXL tall tee during a mid-tape right before his verse began.

Ab-Soul Raps Along To Lil Wayne’s “We Pimpin’, Y’all Simpin’” Song [Video]

Ab-Soul Raps Along To Lil Wayne We Pimpin Yall Simpin

A few days ago, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Ab-Soul released episode 1 of his “These Days Tour” vlog that was directed by Slick Jackson, which you can check out below.

Near the end of this video at the 4:10 mark, the West Coast rapper can be seen rapping along every word to Lil Wayne‘s “We Pimpin’, Y’all Simpin’” song. If you are not familiar with this track, it can be found on the Young Money The Mixtape Vol. 1 mixtape that dropped back in 2005.

I guess it’s cool to see Ab-Soul is a fan of Weezy F Baby. The Black Hippy member has also referenced Weezy in a couple of his songs that you can see here!

Chief Keef Releases A Song Dedicated To Lil Wayne

Chief Keef Releases A Song Dedicated To Lil Wayne

While it’s a quiet weekend, I’ve decided to post up this new Chief Keef song called “Wayne” off his upcoming mixtape Back From The Dead 2, which I guess is some sort of a dedication to Lil Wayne.

It’s not the easiest thing in the world to understand Keef‘s lyrics, but from what I hear on the track he is giving props to Tunechi, Birdman, Mack Maine, Young Money, and Cash Money.

Chief Keef previously referenced Weezy F Baby on a record titled “Murda” back in 2012: “Smoking Weezy feeling Gucci on that We Be Steady Mobbin’”.

You can stream and download the “Wayne” dedication after the jump below!

Lil Wayne Spits A Short Freestyle For Drake In The Woodlands, Texas [Video]

In the video above, Lil Wayne can be seen spitting a short freestyle during the last stop on his joint tour with Drake in The Woodlands, Texas at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on September 27th.

At every show on the “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour, Weezy cut off Drizzy Drake‘s verse on “I’m Goin’ In” and just performed his own. Drizzy also did the same on “Pop That” by cutting the song off after he performed his verse.

It’s all just friendly competition, but in Houston Tune decided to spit a longer freestyle than he usually does after Drake asks him why he cut his verse off:

“You know what it is when you heard Drake; I don’t know why I’m fucking with Lil Tunechi is the first place; Always acting like Houston, Texas is my birthplace; Stop talking shit nigga, today is my birthday!”

Click here to view some pictures from the concert and here to watch footage of Wayne and Drizzy hinting about doing a sequel of their joint tour in 2015 after they release their albums!
