Lil Wayne Talks Wanting To Speak To The US President About Adding 2 More Hours To The Day

For #ThrowbackThursday today, we can watch part 1 of Fuse TV On Demand‘s “Beyond The Music: Lil Wayne” special, which shows behind the scenes of what a day in the life of a 24-year-old Lil Wayne is like.

“I hustle 25/8. Whoever told you there was 24 hours in a day lied to you, whoever told you there was 7 days in the week lied to you; You need to smack ’em in their face when you see ’em.”

In his interview, Wayne speaks on being 13-years deep in the rap game, only ever asking Bun B, Mack 10 and Birdman for advice, being the president of Cash Money Records, his artist Curren$y, going to the University Of Houston to study Psychology, wanting to speak to George W. Lil Wayne In The Studio Recording The Original Version Of “Hittas” & Playing It For Drake [Video]

Lil Wayne In The Studio Recording The Original Version Of Hittas & Playing It For Drake

Lil Wayne took to his Instagram page a few days ago to reveal some exclusive behind the scenes footage of him recording his “Hittas” song.

The clip shows Wayne recording the original version of Tha Carter V track before then playing it for Drake, who calls it an “anthem” and tells Tune that he needs to give him the session so he can record an alternative version to it.

It’s unknown if Drizzy did ever record another version or a remix of “Hittas“, but he does have one line on the 2018 version that we all heard: “Weezy, where you been? The people miss you”.

You can check out the behind the scenes video that was filmed by DJ Scoob Doo after the jump below! With the “To Be Continued” at the end, I wonder if we are about to get a C5 in the making documentary, or even the long-awaited The Nino Brown Story (Part 3)?

The Original Version Of Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” Album To Be Released Officially This Friday [Video]

The Original Version Of Lil Wayne Tha Carter V Album To Be Released Officially This Friday

To celebrate Lil Wayne‘s 38th birthday and the 2-year anniversary of Tha Carter V, the original version of C5 will be released this Friday (September 25th) as a deluxe edition.

While presenting Tunechi with a 2020 McLaren 720S for an early birthday gift, Mack Maine revealed this news in the car as “Life Of Mr. Carter” played in the background.

However, we can hear one line on “Life Of Mr. Carter” that seems to have been changed (“Or to propose and get I don’t know… I don’t know” to “Or to break hearts and get your heart broken, I don’t know”), so I’m not too sure if there will be many changes from the actual OG version which leaked.

Are you happy with this news? I’m buzzing one of my favorite ever Weezy songs in “Scottie Pippen” aka “Scottie” is getting an official release!
