Lil Wayne To Sue Birdman For $8 Million & To Be Freed From His Cash Money Contract

Lil Wayne To Sue Birdman For 8 Million & To Be Freed From His Cash Money Contract

After dissing Birdman and Cash Money on his latest mixtape, Sorry 4 The Wait 2, Lil Wayne will now sue the person he has called “father” for most of his career.

According to TMZ, settlement talks between Tunechi and Baby have failed so Tune is going to file a lawsuit that will claim he is owed $8 million in dues for his Tha Carter V album advance money.

Weezy will also ask the judge to free him from his Cash Money Records contract since Birdman and Slim are withholding the release of C5. Don’t forget, Mr. Carter announced back in 2012 that he had just resigned to CM on a new four-album deal.

Baby has told Lil Wayne that he will release Tha Carter V project “in due time”, but he is not happy with that. The good news is that even though Cash Money are not releasing any of Wayne‘s music, he will continue working outside of the record label for us fans!
