2 Chainz and Lil Wayne performed their “Money Maker” single at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards last night, which aired on BET, VH1 and MTV2.

The ColleGrove duo closed out the awards show with their live performance in a visual that was directed by the same guy who directed their “Money Maker” official music video – Bryan Barber.

Lil Wayne, who has one nomination at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, has been announced as a live performer at the show.

2 Chainz is also a confirmed performer, so the pictures we saw a few days ago may have something to do with the two of them performing “Money Maker” live together.

The nominations for the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards have been announced and Lil Wayne earned a total of one.

Tunechi was nominated in the “Best Collaboration” category for his work on the “What’s Poppin” remix with Jack Harlow, Tory Lanez and DaBaby.

While on the green carpet during the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards at The Fillmore Miami Beach in Florida on October 6th, Blac Youngsta chopped it up with AllHipHop for a quick interview.

During their conversation, the Memphis rapper spoke on Lil Wayne being honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop” award at this year’s Hip Hop Awards show by saying he is “the G.O.A.T”, he “deserves it”, and “he should get it every year”.

Grandmaster Flash uploaded a video of himself to social media not long after Lil Wayne was honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop” award at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards to congratulate him.

The South Bronx old-school hip-hop artist and DJ, who was presented with the same award back in 2006, called Tunechi “an amazing artist” and thanked him for the “Uproar” single off Tha Carter V.

As well as praise from Flash, the No Limit Records founder also shared a video of himself to social media not long after Tune released C5 to reveal he had just bought the album while “Can’t Be Broken” played in the background.

In the clip, Master P spoke about how this new generation have to salute the OGs before them to be successful and called Weezy “the best rapper that ever came from Louisiana”. You can check out both videos after the jump below!
