Lil Wayne Says He Likes The Idea Of Releasing Another Rock Album & A Joint Project With Drake

A new Lil Wayne interview has surfaced online with Vibe magazine that took place a few weeks ago, which you can read below.

During their conversation, Weezy spoke on if T-Pain‘s statements about him and Birdman betting up to $10,000 on video games are true, playing games with his kids, why Missy Elliott makes his top 50 rappers of all time list, and being excited to hit up the studio every night to see what he comes up with.

Tunechi also announced that he likes the idea of releasing another rock album after dropping Rebirth back in 2010, as well as that him and Drake are still planning to drop a collaboration project at some point in the future!

A short snippet for this song has now surfaced online, which was presumably recorded in 2014 as Thug did mention back then he has “recorded a million tracks with Wayne already”.

Here is the official music video for Birdman and Juvenile‘s “Ride Dat” single featuring Lil Wayne.

The visual, which was shot in Downtown Miami at the end of August, includes cameos from Jacquees and DJ Stevie J.

This DRoc-produced collaboration will appear on Baby and Juvie‘s forthcoming Just Another Gangsta 2 joint album, due to drop later this year.

Rick Ross Explains Why He Didnt Put Lil Wayne & Pusha T On The Same Song Together Even Though Both Teams Cleared Their Verses

Last month, Rick Ross stopped by HOT 97 to appear on their “Ebro In The Morning” radio show to chat with Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez, as well as to promote his latest album, Port Of Miami 2.

Around the 16:00 mark, Ross was asked why Pusha T did not appear on his and Lil Wayne‘s “Maybach Music VI” collaboration to which he revealed that both teams cleared their verses. However, he didn’t think it was the right time to put both of them on a song together:

“What’s so dope about it is that both verses were cleared from both parties, but like I said, it was more about the bigger picture. Is this gonna move them two getting together closer? And I didn’t feel like this was the time for that.”

After talking about “Maybach Music VI” (watch the full interview below), Rozay brought up how he would like to see a collaboration from Wayne, Drake, Kanye West and Pusha drop next year! Could you see a collabo like that ever happen?
