After announcing when he plans to drop his and Lil Wayne‘s ColleGrove 2 joint album a couple of days ago, 2 Chainz teased 2 songs from the upcoming album during the same livestream too.

One of these Chainz and Wayne collaborations was “Do It Without Ya” and another one was titled “La La La“, which also features Benny The Butcher.

2 Chainz Announces His & Lil Wayne ColleGrove 2 Joint Album Will Be Released This Year

2 Chainz took to Instagram Live last night to confirm he will be releasing a sequel to his and Lil Wayne‘s ColleGrove joint album later this year.

We first got word that the two of them were going to drop ColleGrove 2 at the 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” and then we also got another hint in early 2018.

You can watch Tity Boi make this announcement below. Let’s hope “Bars” produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep and the extended version of “Gotta Lotta” both appear on this project!

2 Chainz Says Him & Lil Wayne Have Another One On The Way, Maybe ColleGrove 2

2 Chainz has took to his social media pages to announce the news that him and Lil Wayne have “another one on the way”.


Now this could either mean Tity Boi and Weezy have a new upcoming single together, or a new forthcoming collaboration project.

Hopefully Chainz is talking about a ColleGrove 2 joint album as the two of them both confirmed back in 2016 that it’s already been completed. We still have that “Bars” song produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep and the extended version of “Gotta Lotta” to look forward to as well!

Here is third and final song Mannie Fresh previewed during his interview with the “DaTakeOver” podcast, which you can check out after the jump below.

After teasing “Start This Shit Off Right” off Tha Carter V and a song off his and Lil Wayne‘s EDM joint album, Mannie teased a Wayne and 2 ChainzBig Ballin” remix that could be appearing on ColleGrove 2 as Fresh can be heard saying “ColleGrove” at the very beginning.

If you didn’t already know, “Big Ballin” was a track released back in 1998 from the Big Tymers (Birdman and Mannie Fresh). A young Weezy also made a cameo in the music video!

The 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest went down at Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music in Lil Wayne‘s hometown New Orleans, Louisiana on August 27th.

Weezy brought out Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Mystikal, Migos, Yo Gotti, Partners N Crime, Baby E, Rico Richie, Young Greatness, S-8ighty, Showboys, Ms. Tee, and Fiend during the show to perform songs live.

Throughout the show, Tunechi performed “Hot Boy“, “Finessin’” with Baby E, “Moolah” with Young Greatness, “Loyal” with Breezy, “Halfway” with S-8ighty, “Duffle Bag Boy“, “No Problem“, “MFN Right“, “Blue C-Note” and more tracks live with Tity Boi.

Lil Wayne Recalls Tearing Up After Hearing 2 Chainz Dedication Song For The First Time

We first heard about this interview earlier this month, and now we can watch part 1 of Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz‘ conversation with Rob Markman from Genius that took place backstage at The Tabernacle after the “TIDAL X: ColleGrove” show in Atlanta, Georgia on March 30th.

In part 1, Weezy reveals that even though he has a few tears tattooed on his face, when he heard Tity Boy‘s “Dedication” song off ColleGrove for the first time it made him drop a few more, as well as that ColleGrove 2 is already done.

Tunechi and Chainz also spoke on “Duffle Bag Boy“, the “when I hit your cup with that drank, had a nigga stomach like wait” line off “Dedication“, and more.
