Ace Hood was a recent guest on the Hip-Hop Uncensored podcast where he chopped it up with hosts SamAnt and O’God.

During their conversation, Ace spoke about his experiences of working with Lil Wayne, who is someone he looked up to for years while growing up, as well as witnessing Wayne‘s evolution.

The Florida rapper also recalled playing Tunechi‘s Tha Carter album for 3 years straight when it was first released before sharing his thoughts on the recent comments that Tune made about George Floyd, Black Lives Matter and police brutality!

Hopsin Says He Took An L For His Past Hate On Lil Wayne + Calls Him An Amazing Rapper

During a recent Instagram Live session for his fans (watch below), Hopsin addressed his hate on Lil Wayne in the past.

The Los Angeles rapper says there has always been Wayne songs he loved even back when he made negative comments, as well as that he “can confidentially say Lil Wayne is an amazing rapper” and “the metaphors and punchlines are definitely really good”.

Hopsin goes on to admit he “took an L” for his comments and “was definitely sleeping” on Weezy, but reveals it was all because he was caught up in a wave of hating on anything mainstream at the time. However, Hopsin does mention that he now appreciates Tune after he has grown as a lyricist and got more into lyricism himself!

Over the weekend, Eminem took to social media to reveal his own list of the greatest rappers of all time.

Replying to a tweet from YouTuber NoLifeShaq asking “Who the Greatest Rapper of All-Time?”, Slim Shady mentioned 17 rappers with Lil Wayne‘s name first even though he says the list was in “no particular order”:

“For me, in no particular order… Toss up between wayne, pac, royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie & king crook…. Plus redman, LL, nas, joyner, kendrick, cole, andre, rakim, kane…”

So there you have it! Em‘s list of GOAT rappers are: Wayne, Tupac Shakur, Royce Da 5’9″, JAY-Z, Redman, Treach, Kool G Rap, The Notorious B.I.G., Crooked I, LL Cool J, Nas, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Andre 3000, Rakim, and Big Daddy Kane. What are your thoughts on his list?

Around the 24:30 mark, Luda was asked who his top five rappers with the greatest flows of all time are to which he named: Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, JAY-Z, and Lil Wayne.

The rapper and actor did say that “this is probably, might be one of the greatest questions I’ve ever been asked”. You can watch him list five rappers that he feels have the best flows in the rap game below!
