The Game recently sat down with Jeremy Hecht for an interview to promote his upcoming Drillmatic album.

During their conversation, Game was asked about his “My Life” single featuring Lil Wayne and revealed how him and Wayne first met.

When talking about “My Life“, the Compton rapper says the hook from Tunechi originally came from an outro Tune did for another one of their songs that Cool & Dre produced.

You can check out the full convo after the jump below. I don’t think Game is aware of this, but many Weezy fans will know that he first sang this chorus on Birdman’s “So Tired” song back in 2007!

While on the red carpet at the 2022 BET Awards last month (June 26th), Jeremy Hecht caught up with DJ Drama, Sonny Digital and Seddy Hendrinx for an interview.

At the 1:15 mark of their conversation, Drama recalled Lil Wayne claiming he is the “Best Rapper Alive” on the Dedication 2 mixtape, revealed his favorite Wayne verse of all time is “Cannon“, and placed D2 in his top 3 mixtapes of all time.

Wiz Khalifa recently chopped it up with Jeremy Hecht from HipHopDX for a virtual interview that you can watch below.

At the 4:15 mark of their convo, Khalifa talked all about his friendship with Lil Wayne and what went down in their latest studio session together.

The Pittsburgh artist called Wayne “cool” and revealed they sat in the studio for about 4 hours smoking weed, having funny conversations, and they didn’t even play a single beat!

At the 5:25 mark of their conversation, Pooh discussed being influenced by Lil Wayne and revealed his favorite Wayne verse of all time is off the “Sky Is The Limit (Ride For My N*ggas)” song.

They all say the song is from the earlier Dedication mixtapes, but I think we all know it’s from Da Drought 3 tape. Shiesty also recalls making his friends listen to Weezy‘s bars very closely!

During their conversation, Choppa reveals how Lil Wayne and Kobe Bryant have both influenced him, he will only create a “Shotta Flow 6” song if he gets a Wayne feature for it, and his favorite mixtape and track from Weezy are: Dedication 5 and “A Milli“.
