Lil Wayne Settles His $14 Million Tax Debt

Lil Wayne Settles His 14 Million Tax Debt

Last month, Lil Wayne settled his huge tax bill of $14 million with the United States of America government.

According to The Blast, who received official court documents, Tunechi has paid off his IRS tax bills of $7,341,399.07 in 2011 and $6,853,545.77 in 2012.

More than likely Weezy has been able to pay off this debt from the eight-figure settlement money he received from Birdman and Cash Money Records last year!

Tyga Lay You Down Feat Lil Wayne

For this week’s “Feature Friday” installment, I have picked a track from Tyga called “Lay You Down” featuring his Young Money boss at the time, Lil Wayne.

There are two versions of this David D.A. Doman and Jess Jackson-co-produced song, but the official version appears on T-Raww‘s Careless World: Rise Of The Last King album, which was released back in 2012.

“Shoot sideways, like O-Dog on “Menace”; Leave your brains in yo’ tennis; I’m the Renaissance Man, so put me in the book; And I got my pistol on the hook, sing, hahahah”

You can listen to “Lay You Down” below.

Lil Wayne Wants His Old Lyric Book Back, Sends Legal Threats To The Auction Company

Lil Wayne Wants His Old Lyric Book Back, Sends Legal Threats To The Auction Company

Just over a few weeks ago, we found out that an old notebook containing some of Lil Wayne‘s raps from the Hot Boys era is on the market for $250,000.00. The book, which includes lyrics written by Wayne from when he was 17-years-old, was found in a car that once belonged to Cash Money and it is now being auctioned off through Moments In Time.

According to TMZ, Tunechi has got his attorneys to file a warning letter to the auction company stating the fact that he is the rightful owner of the notepad and he has never agreed to the sale of his pad. In this letter, Tune‘s attorneys say he “never abandoned his notebook”, but just lost it, and even though he is glad it has now been found, he is not happy about it being sold. Weezy claims that the person who found it kept it a secret for all this time, because he wanted to wait for the right opportunity to make money from it.

The founder of Moments In Time, Gary Zimet, reveals that Lil Wayne will have to purchase the notepad from them if he does want it back. Wayne is reportedly fine with doing this, but he’s still threatening legal action if they don’t stop the sale to the public!

Baby E Shares Interesting Stories From Touring & Being In The Studio With Lil Wayne

Baby E Shares Interesting Stories From Touring & Being In The Studio With Lil Wayne

Baby E recently chopped it up with The Deep Cuts Podcast for an interview, which you can listen to below.

During their conversation, E spoke on his Kill The Noise project, upcoming music, his “Finessin” single, switching from Def Jam to Young Money, how he actually got signed to YM, being managed by Mack Maine, who his favorite underground music artists are, and plenty more.

The Young Money rapper also discussed how Lil Wayne was an inspiration and hero to him while growing up, having the best chemistry with Wayne and Lil Twist in the studio, how Weezy is a big part of his sound, and shared stories from touring with Young Mula.

Before the interview wrapped up, Baby E revealed he has never seen anyone work as hard as Tunechi, as well as how he has witnessed Tune and his engineer work in a studio for 12 – 16 hours from starting at 6AM. He even mentioned that himself and YM all participated in a game by putting money into a jar and the first person to catch Mr. Carter sleeping would win all the money (which had over $5,000.00 in it). However, E says no one won!
