Earlier this month during an interview with Golf.com, Brooks Koepka was asked if he has ever met a music artist on his playlist to which he revealed he has met Lil Wayne.

The professional golfer from Florida recalled meeting Tunechi after his first The US Open win at a pool party in Los Angeles. Before pointing out that he is “really short”, Brooks said he knew Tune was walking by him from a certain smell (weed).

YFL Kelvin recently sat down with 247HH for an interview that you can check out below.

During their conversation, Kelvin revealed that the rappers who inspired him the most are Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, 50 Cent and Dipset.

The Cleveland rapper then went into more detail about why Weezy is one of his biggest inspirations and that is because he came into the music industry hungry at a very young age.

Kelvin also recalled when Tunechi dropped his Da Drought mixtape around the same time that PSP (PlayStation Portable) came out and he used to play NBA 2K while listening to every Tune song. He even mentioned that watching Wayne‘s VH1 documentary about his life made him want to become a rapper!

The Belgium music producer discussed why he got Tunechi and Bazzi on his new single, revealed it had been in the works for a while, and added that it was a “childhood dream” for both himself and the Michigan singer-songwriter to work with Tune.

Drake & Lil Wayne Successful, Ignorant Shit, Unstoppable Remix & Uptown Are Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

Last night at midnight, Drake released his So Far Gone project to all streaming platforms to celebrate it’s 10-year anniversary on February 13th.

As you should already know, the project includes four dope collaborations with his Young Money boss Lil Wayne – “Successful” (also with Trey Songz), “Ignorant Shit“, “Unstoppable Remix” (also with Santigold aka Santogold), and “Uptown” (also with Bun B).

However, for a currently unknown reason, Tunechi does not appear on the outro of “Congratulations” anymore. Drizzy also praised Tune during his SFG thank you post on Instagram by writing: “a decade ago you took me out of Toronto and gave me the biggest blessing anybody has ever given me”.
