At the end of April, Lil Wayne hit up Castle Row Studios in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to work on his upcoming Tha Carter V album.

Inside the studio session with Weezy was music producer HiVolume, artist Freshjay, and manager Jenney Live.

Both HiVolume and Freshjay confirmed that it was C5 they were working on by writing “#Carter5 is still on the way ya’ll, don’t trip [fire emoji]” and “A little late but…#Carter5 on the way” on their captions of the picture above!

On April 27th, Lil Wayne brought his “Kloser 2 U Tour” to The Criterion in Oklahoma City.

During the concert, Weezy brought out Oklahoma City Thunder basketball players Russell Westbrook and Victor Oladipo to the stage.

After performing his “No Problem” verse live with Russell next to him, Tunechi and the crowd started to chant “MVP” at him. You can check out some footage of this after the jump!

On August 20th, Collegrove duo Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will be hosting an event at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Weezy and Tity Boi are set to perform their hits live at the arena that will open it’s doors at 7:00PM.

Tickets are currently not on sale for the show, but they will be available for purchase from Ticketmaster.com soon!

Lil Wayne performed live at the Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma last night for a stop on his America’s Most Wanted music festival. During his set, Tune brought out his opening acts 2 Chainz and T.I. to perform their collaborations live together!

Lil Wayne attended the Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game yesterday (June 12th) at the Chesapeake Energy Arena with Mack Maine. You can check out some photos of them sitting court-side after the jump below.

Weezy also went on Twitter during the game to tweet about his frustrations with the Oklahoma City Thunder team and the way their staff treated him. This is not the first time Tune has been mad at OKC Thunder!

Again I was treated like sh!t by the Thunder arena staff…dam..I hope da Heat beat da dog sh!t out em!!
