Pharrell Shares A Story Of Lil Wayne Taking Him To A Gangsta Club In New Orleans, Discusses Wayne vs Pusha T Beef

Pharrell Williams recently sat down with N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for an interview on the latest episode of their “Drink Champs” podcast.

At the 1:04:30 mark of their conversation, Pharrell shares a story of Lil Wayne taking him to a club in New Orleans, Louisiana one time that he says “was the most gangsta shit”. He mentions it was “white tee central” and all 3,000 people in attendance had a gun, which made him feel very uncomfortable.

Later on around the 1:10:00 mark, the Virginia Beach music artist was asked about his thoughts on the Wayne vs. Pusha T beef and says it didn’t make him happy at all. You can check out Pharrell‘s full convo on “Drink Champs” below.

A few days ago, we first saw Young Thug share the story of how Lil Wayne ignored him when they met for the very first time, and now we can check out Thug‘s full interview on episode 93 of Gillie Da King and Wallo267‘s “The Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast.

Inside their conversation, Thugger mentioned his dream opponent in a VERZUZ battle would be Weezy: “It would probably have to be like [Lil Wayne]. Because you got to think… we got to talk about influence. We got to talk about everything. We got to talk about everything. It’s not just about no rap. You got to understand, as rapper, as hip-hop artists, you can only go so far. I always just focused on the next level.”

In a sneak peek of their conversation, which you can watch below, Gillie asks Thugger about the first time he met his idol Lil Wayne to which Thug says Wayne ignored him.

“The first day that nigga didn’t goddamn dap me up. Tried me. That nigga tried my pimping… left me hanging.”

I’m sure everyone is well aware of the problems that went on with Weezy and Thugger a few years back, such as Tha Barter 6 project, but I think it’s fair to say their beef is over now especially after Thug was featured on No Ceilings 3!

Killer Mike recently took part in an interview with John Heilemann for the “Hell & High Water” podcast, which you can listen to in full below.

During their conversation, Mike shared his thoughts on Lil Wayne meeting US President Donald Trump and how he believes Wayne was given a few million dollars to show his support.

“I don’t know why Wayne did the endorsement… but I suspect, like 50 Cent said, they offer you a million bucks, shoot… They offered 50 a million. Shit, they might’ve offered Weezy three or four, you know?”

Even though he is not sure what to think of Weezy endorsing Trump, the Run The Jewels emcee did have huge praise for him: “I’m still a Lil Wayne fan. He is one of the greatest rappers on fucking earth.”
