Ice T Says Lil Wayne Was Meant To Perform Live For 2023 GRAMMYs Hip Hop 50th Tribute

Ice T recently appeared on the Holdin Court Podcast to chop it up with the host Big Court.

From the 3:55 mark of their interview, which you can watch below, Ice claims Lil Wayne and Future were supposed to perform live during the hip-hop turning 50-years-old tribute at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on February 5th.

Lil Wayne To Perform With Fall Out Boy & London Grammar On VH1’s New “SoundClash” Series

Lil Wayne To Perform With Fall Out Boy & London Grammar On VH1 New SoundClash Series

On July 23rd, Lil Wayne will appear on VH1’s new music series called SoundClash, along with American rock band Fall Out Boy and British group London Grammar.

SoundClash, which is being executive produced by Questlove and hosted by Diplo, will feature three artists all on the same stage at one time performing their hits, songs with the other artists (if they have any), and covers.

Wayne has three collaborations with Fall Out Boy (“America’s Suitehearts (Remix)”, “Tiffany Blews”, and “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race (Remix)”), so I wonder if they will perform any of those tracks together? Even if they don’t, I’m sure it will still be interesting to watch!
