Swizz Beatz Teases A New Collaboration With Lil Wayne

Swizz Beatz has took to his Instagram page to preview a new collaboration he has with Lil Wayne that samples Wayne‘s “pistol on my side, you don’t wanna hear that thing talk” line off “Forever“.

The rapper and producer revealed in a caption that the song will appear on his upcoming album, which is currently untitled and has no release date.

“BRONX NYC!!!!!!!! I’m in a good mood !!!!!!!!! Let’s Gooooooooooooooooioooooo! Shout out Wayne killing it! #mclaren720 New wayne off my Album”

You can listen to a snippet of the forthcoming track below. Let’s hope we get to hear it in full soon as we still haven’t received the “Hands Up” music video, or the full version of “Rock N Roll” either!

T-Pain recently sat down with Micah Peters from The Ringer for a one on one interview to speak on his and Lil Wayne‘s T-Wayne collaboration project, which you can check out below.

During their conversation, Pain spoke on why he decided to finally put out T-Wayne after 9 years, the hand drawn artwork for it, the recording process, what his relationship is like with Tunechi right now, the Willy Wonka sample on “Listen To Me“, and knowing the project is old when you can hear Tune referencing a Sidekick phone in one of his verses.

The singer-songwriter also explained Weezy‘s current record label situation with Cash Money Records by confirming that Wayne can release as much music as he wants, but the people that would benefit from the music are not people he wants to benefit from it!

The Jim Jonsin and Bigg D-co-produced song, which samples Keith Sweat’s “How Deep Is Your Love” track, can be found on Mike‘s The Voice album that was released back in 2008.

Toronto rapper Jazz Cartier has released a dope new tribute song for his favorite rapper Lil Wayne, which is also the name of the track.

The song premiered on Beats 1 Radio’s OVO Sound Radio show last night. It includes references to Tunechi, a sample from The Carter Documentary, and lyrics from Tune‘s classic records.

Just like with “Let’s Talk It Over” in March, “Trouble” in February and “Cry Out (Amen)” in January, STREETRUNNER has released another mastered version of one of his older Lil Wayne songs that he produced today for #ThrowbackThursday.

The track that the producer has chosen to release today is “Do It Again“. It first leaked online just under 10 years ago and now thanks to STREETRUNNER, we can listen to this great record that samples New Birth’s “Do It Again” in CDQ.
