A bunch of Lil Wayne snippets surfaced online yesterday that are from the I Am Not A Human Being II and Tha Carter III album sessions.

These include the songs that a lot of Wayne have been patiently waiting for, such as “Jungle“, “Kidnap Cupid” and “World On My Shoulders“.

There is also features on the tracks from Kidd Kidd, Mack Maine, Brisco, Curren$y, and T-Streets. You can check out the previews below!

Drake Recalls Always Wanting To Be As Important As Lil Wayne, Discusses His Work Ethic & Confirms He Is Not Directly Signed To Young Money Any More

For a surprise on Christmas Day, RapRadar and TIDAL released a brand new 2-hour interview with Drake that took place at his amazing new home in Toronto, Canada.

At the start of their conversation, Drizzy revealed that his goal at first was to be as important as his “mentor” Lil Wayne and that he does not think anyone in music before or after will ever have the same work ethic as what Wayne has.

After talking about Tunechi‘s “most insane work ethic”, the 6 God then recalled witnessing Tune record 4 – 5 classics in one night and seeing Kobe Bryant walk in on the tour bus during his very first meeting with Weezy to get an early release of Tha Carter III on an iPod.

Later on in the interview, Drake mentioned Lil Wayne will always be one of his favorite music artists, how a lot of things changed when he went to jail in 2010, how Wayne doesn’t listen to no other artists when he is in album mode, and confirmed he is not signed to Young Money any more.

Tyga recently sat down with Ebro Darden for a one on one interview with Beats 1 radio to promote his latest album, Legendary.

During their conversation, which you can watch after the jump below, Ty revealed it was Lil Wayne who helped him grow into the person that he is today from his influence, as well as his work ethic.

“Wayne, he kinda like, he helped me grow into this person and really just inspired me and mentored me through the years. He signed me when I was 17. I was over there when he was doing Carter III so, that whole process, I had somebody to look [up] to as far as like, this is how I should do it. I should be in the studio every day. This person’s doing it. I should be doing shows… you know what I’m saying? I had guidance in a way. Just putting him on the beginning of the album is legendary. After all the drama, all the shit that he’s been through, label stuff, me, and still come out on top…”

T-Raww also mentioned that he put his Tune feature at the beginning of his Legendary album, because he is the actual legend. The former Young Money artist even explained how “Bed Rock” came together after first having hooks from Ne-Yo and Omarion, why you always have to be ready with verses when in the studio with Weezy, and being mad that he wasn’t on “Every Girl“!

Lil Wayne Wins At The 2019 Webby Awards

Lil Wayne was victorious at the 23rd annual Webby Awards, which announced the winners earlier this week on April 23rd.

The Webby Awards are an annual awards show that celebrate the best work on the Internet by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

Weezy won his award in the “Celebrity/Fan (Social)” category for Spotify’s “Tha Carter III 10-Year Anniversary” campaign, which we saw numerous rappers re-create the C3 album cover and speak on how the album influenced them.

An official ceremony to recognize the winners in every category at this year’s Webby Awards, which will be hosted by comedian Jenny Slate, will be taking place next month on May 13th in New York. Congratz to Tunechi!
