Lil Wayne is a fan of women’s basketball! After the Miami Hurricanes won against the Villanova Wildcats in the Sweet 16 round of the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball tournament on March 24th, he FaceTimed twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder to congratulate them.

In the next Elite Eight round, the LSU Tigers (who represent Louisiana State University) beat the Hurricanes to which Wayne then Facetimed Angel Reese to congratulate the team on their win.

During the Final Four round of the competition, Weezy joined Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird to react to Kim Mulkey signing and Flau’jae Johnson rapping. He also confirmed that himself and Flau’jae are about to collaborate on a song together.

DJ Stevie J celebrated his birthday by hosting various events over five days last month. Lil Wayne joined him at two of these events, which were Dream Nightclub on Saturday, February 21st and LIV nightclub on Sunday, February 22nd.

Hopefully we will get some better footage of Weezy on the show soon, which I will then update this post with.
