Lil Wayne Confirms He Signed To His Idol Jay Z TIDAL, Will Be Dropping New Music Soon & Raps Glory

Lil Wayne performed live at KMEL 106.1’s 2015 “Summer Jam” show on June 13th, which took place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

During his set, Weezy confirmed that he has now signed to his idol Jay Z‘s streaming service TIDAL after he was going through some “trouble” and “bullshit” with releasing his music at Cash Money Records, as well as that he can now and will be dropping some new music soon.

After telling the crowd this news, Tunechi then rapped his “Glory” single acapella and mentioned that he is “still the best rapper alive”. You can check it all out in the video after the jump below, courtesy of Ivan!

Lil Wayne To Headline Power 93.5 Power House Jam, KMEL 106 Summer Jam & WGCI 107.5 Summer Jam

It was announced a few days ago that Lil Wayne will be headlining Detroit’s annual “Big Show At The Joe” concert in June, and now there have been new announcements revealing that Weezy will be headlining a few other concerts in June too with Trey Songz, Kid Ink, Ty Dolla $ign, Fetty Wap, August Alsina, DeJ Loaf, G-Eazy, and others!

On June 11th, Tunechi will be headlining Power 93.5’s 2015 “Power House Jam” at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. On June 13th, Tune will be attending KMEL 106.1’s 2015 “Summer Jam” at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Lastly, he will be headlining WGCI 107.5’s 2015 “Summer Jam” at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on June 20th.

You can now purchase your tickets for KMEL and WGCI’s “Summer Jam” concerts from Ticketmaster here and here. Tickets for the Power 93.5 show will go on sale this Friday at 10AM from Select-A-Seat!

Big Sean Says We Might Hear Him On Lil Wayne Tha Carter 5 Album

A week after finding out Kendrick Lamar did work for Lil Wayne‘s upcoming Tha Carter V album, Big Sean now says in an interview with Shay Diddy from 106 KMEL-FM that he also may or may not be featured on the project.

“Check out Tha Carter V, you might hear your boy on there.”

It seems like it’s a similar situation to the K. Dot situation, which is that Sean did a verse for C5, but he can not say for certain if it will make the album until the tracklist is revealed.
