After announcing when he plans to drop his and Lil Wayne‘s ColleGrove 2 joint album a couple of days ago, 2 Chainz teased 2 songs from the upcoming album during the same livestream too.

One of these Chainz and Wayne collaborations was “Do It Without Ya” and another one was titled “La La La“, which also features Benny The Butcher.

2 Chainz Announces His & Lil Wayne ColleGrove 2 Joint Album Will Be Released This Year

2 Chainz took to Instagram Live last night to confirm he will be releasing a sequel to his and Lil Wayne‘s ColleGrove joint album later this year.

We first got word that the two of them were going to drop ColleGrove 2 at the 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” and then we also got another hint in early 2018.

You can watch Tity Boi make this announcement below. Let’s hope “Bars” produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep and the extended version of “Gotta Lotta” both appear on this project!

Juelz Santana has released a brand new project from behind bars today called #FREESANTANA.

Included on the project was the CDQ version of Juelz‘s “Boiling Water” song featuring Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Belly that we previously heard a radio rip of last year.

The Dipset rapper also included an extended version of his “Bloody Mary” collaboration with Wayne on #FREESANTANA, which includes a few changes to Santana‘s verse and an outro. Listen to both tracks below!

Carrying on with promo for his brand new album, Funeral, Lil Wayne recently called into Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music over Skype, which you can check out below.

During their interview, Tunechi spoke about how beautiful it is to look back at his albums when he has finished recording them and to see the rewarding results. However, Tune did say that when the projects have been released to the world, he has already began to move on and he even has 20 more albums in his back pocket ready to drop.

Weezy also discussed the concept of his Funeral cover, who came up with the design, “Bastard (Satan’s Kid)“, how he chooses songs for his projects, always rapping in the moment due to never writing anything down, collaborations being done now via text messages, how the “Funeral” name comes from his “Rebirth” album, his relationship with 2 Chainz, “Ball Hard“, features on Funeral, how his “Bing James” collabo with Jay Rock came about, the recent tour with Blink-182, working with Travis Barker, and more!
