Lil Wayne Celebrates His 36th Birthday & Tha Carter V Album With A Goat, Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Ashanti, Trippie Redd, Wiz Khalifa & More

At midnight on September 27th until the early hours of September 28th, Lil Wayne celebrated his 36th birthday and the release of his Tha Carter V album with a party dubbed “Wayne’s World” at Hubble Studio in Los Angeles, California.

There were plenty of special guests at the soirée including Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Ashanti, Big Sean, Trippie Redd, Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods, Reginae Carter, Rae Sremmurd, Ray J, Timbaland, Shaggy, Draya Michele, Trey Songz, Tiffany Haddish, and his Young Money artists.

The event let guests eat traditional New Orleans food catered by Trap Kitchen, smoke marijuana, and show off their skateboarding skills on a skate ramp. There were also two goats in attendance at the party to pay tribute to the actual G.O.A.T. himself before he was presented with a three-tier birthday cake. Lloyd recently sat down with LowKey from Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio show to promote his new album, Tru, which includes the 2016 collaboration with Lil Wayne – “Holding“.

During their conversation, the R&B singer-songwriter chatted about his relationship with Tunechi and revealed that his favorite collabo from them is “The Bandits“, which was never released officially. He also added that Tune freestyled his whole verse after one of his concerts in Atlanta and kept on rapping even after the beat ended.
