During their conversation, the Atlanta rapper was asked to spit lyrics from himself or his favorite artist to which he decided to rap the following:

“Last year they had the Grammys and left me in Miami; Sleepin’ on a nigga like I’m rappin’ in my jammies; I’m rappin’ when you sleep, I was rappin’ when you were in jammies”

Iman Shumpert recently appeared on BET’s “Rate The Bars: NBA Edition” series to rate lyrics from artists such as Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Machine Gun Kelly, Nicki Minaj, Lloyd Banks, Kobe Bryant, Lil B, and Lou Williams.

During the clip, which you can check out below, Iman rated the following lyrics from Lil Wayne‘s “Off, Off Off” song 5 out of 5 before then calling his beat selection and delivery “so crazy”:

The professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings also added that Tunechi is a good guy and a lot of music artists try and make that “soundtrack to a game” vibe, but Tune is one of the artists who is really great at it!

At the start of their conversation, Tity Boi spoke on how he never really cared about counting his bars when he first started rapping and how being around Lil Wayne made him not follow the usual structure of verses and hooks on a song. He even shared a funny story of Wayne rapping 40 bars with no hook.

Later on in the interview, Chainz revealed one of his biggest motivations of his music career was being next to Weezy in the studio working while he was being told he had just sold 1 million copies of his Tha Carter III album!

DJ Drama recently did an interview with HipHop-N-More and during their conversation, Drama discussed the Lil Wayne feature on his upcoming Quality Street Music 2 album and updated us on Dedication 6.

The disc jockey explained that he gave Wayne the beat for “Intro” while he was at Tree Sound Studios in Georgia and the bars that “mixtape Weezy” rapped on the song are “amazing”.
