Don Cannon Explains Why Lil Wayne Cannon Changed His Life & Reveals He Has An Unreleased Version Of The Song

DJ Bootleg Kev sits down with the Generation Now record label founders DJ Drama, Leighton “Lakeshow” Morrison and Don Cannon for episode 38 of the “The Bootleg Kev Podcast”.

During their conversation, Don reveals what beat he thinks changed his life as a music producer, which he goes on to say the “Cannon” record on Lil Wayne‘s Dedication 2 mixtape.

While discussing the process behind “Cannon” (watch below), the Philadelphia native says Trick Daddy, Bohagon and Busta Rhymes all originally had the instrumental before Weezy.

Lil Wayne Thanks Donald Trump For His Pardon + Fat Joe, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes, Lil Skies & More React To The News

Not long after Donald Trump officially pardoned Lil Wayne, the Young Money CEO took to his Twitter page to share a statement about the situation and to thank the 45th president of the USA, as well as his attorney Bradford Cohen.

“I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community. I also want to thank [attorney Bradford Cohen] for working so diligently to secure another chance for me. Love!”

Tunechi‘s attorney also participated in an interview with The New York Times recently where he claimed Tune did not meet up with Trump in October, 2020 just to receive a pardon like a lot of people are suggesting.

In related news, fellow rappers and peers of Weezy, such as Fat Joe, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes, Royce Da 5’9″, Wack 100 and Lil Skies, have all reacted positively on social media to the pardon news. Check it out below!

Turk Says Lil Wayne Would Beat Anyone In A “Verzuz” Battle If It Was Based On Music Catalogs [Videos]

Turk Says Lil Wayne Would Beat Anyone In A Verzuz Battle If It Was Off Music Catalogs Alone

Taking to his Instagram Live, Turk makes sure everyone knows that Lil Wayne could go up against anybody in a Verzuz battle and win if you’re going off music catalogs alone.

Turk says Tunechi‘s discography from The B.G.z and when he was going by the name of Baby D to all the way to now is so good that it will beat any other rapper, such as Jay Z, Eminem, T.I., The Game, and Busta Rhymes.

The YNT founder even says if you put all of the other rappers’ catalogs together whether they are old school or new school, it would still not come close to Weezy‘s discography. He also added that if you want to do groups, the Hot Boys would win against anybody. You can check out 2 videos of Turk discussing this below! Do you agree with him?
