Regina Hall Calls Lil Wayne Dope & Unique

Regina Hall sat down with Genius last month to take their “The Lil Rappers Quiz”, which is a quiz about rappers who have “Lil” in their name.

While answering the question correctly about which “Lil” rapper has the most GRAMMY awards by saying Lil Wayne, the actress and comedian revealed she thinks Wayne is dope and unique as nobody else sounds like him.

Katie Couric recently sat down with Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer for an interview with Yahoo at Caffe Reggio in Washington Square Park, New York City all about their comedy television series “Broad City”.

During the conversation, Ilana showed off a quick Lil Wayne impression and explained that she loves Young Money, because they are all hard workers. She also mentioned that her and Abbi discuss Wayne‘s 2009 interview with Katie all the time.

I have never seen “Broad City” before, so I couldn’t tell you anything about the show, but it’s supposed to be really successful and popular, which is why I have posted this up (because I know you will be asking why in the comments haha)!

Spoken Reasons Discusses How Lil Wayne & His Work Ethic Can Be Compared To 2Pac

Comedian and actor Spoken Reasons sat down with Vlad TV recently to give his thoughts on which music artists he thinks are the closest to Tupac Amaru Shakur.

At the 6:55 mark of the interview after he discussed how Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar can be compared to 2Pac, Reasons says no one can come anywhere near as close as Lil Wayne for having a similar work ethic as Pac. He actually says that he believes Wayne has put in more work musically than the late West Coast legend.

Spoken Reasons went on to talk about how no one in hip-hop will ever have more music than Weezy F Baby and that there will always be new Weezy albums, even after he passes on (which is also similar to 2Pac).
