On April 4th, Lil Wayne kicked off his “Welcome To Tha Carter Tour” at The Fillmore music venue in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Weezy has added a number of new tracks to his usual concert setlist, which is great to see. Some of the new additions are: “Money On My Mind“, “Let The Beat Build“, “Hustler Musik“, “BM J.R.“, “Cash Money Millionaires“, “I’m Single“, “Kan’t Nobody“, “Comfortable“, “Mirror“, “Cannon“, “Watch My Shoes“, “Ice Cream Paint Job“, “I’m A Beast“, “Ask Dem Hoes“, “I’m Me“, “Ain’t Gonna Answer“, and “God Did“.

On Sunday night (February 5th), Lil Wayne was in attendance at 65th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California.

While at the Crypto.com Arena for this year’s awards show, Weezy closed out the GRAMMYs by performing “God Did” live with DJ Khaled, JAY-Z, Rick Ross, Fridayy, and John Legend.

Unfortunately, Tunechi did not win any of the 3 awards he was nominated for with the “God Did” collaboration. What did you think of the performance (watch below)?

Lil Wayne To Perform Live At The 2023 Grammy Awards For Hip Hop 50th Anniversary

Tomorrow (February 5th), Lil Wayne has been announced as one of the live performers for the 65th annual Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California.

This year’s GRAMMYs will be honoring hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with a huge performance featuring Weezy, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, GloRilla, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio/Ethiopian King, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, RUN-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz, The LOX, and Too $hort.

The live performance will be directed and produced by Questlove, and LL Cool J will be introducing everyone (as well as performing himself). The music will be provided by The Roots and Black Thought will be narrating.

Be sure to tune into the awards show tomorrow night, which will be streaming live on CBS. It has now been confirmed that one of the songs Tunechi is going to perform is “God Did” with DJ Khaled, JAY Z and Rick Ross!

DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, Rick Ross, John Legend & Fridayy God Did Goes Gold

According to DJ Khaled on Instagram, his “God Did” collaboration with Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, Rick Ross, John Legend, and Fridayy was officially certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) a few days ago.

This means that the STREETRUNNER and Tarik Azzouz-co-produced track, which appears on Khaled‘s album of the same title, God Did, has been purchased and streamed over 500,000 times since it was first released earlier this year on August 26th.

Earlier this month on December 3rd, Lil Wayne put on a live concert at the Rio Rancho Events Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

During the show, Weezy performed “Mr. Carter“, “God Did“, “Blunt Blowin’“, “Uproar“, “I’m Goin’ In“, “Lollipop“, “Love Me“, “Mrs. Officer“, “Every Girl“, “Bedrock” with Gudda Gudda, “Swag Surf“, “Let Do It“, “HYFR“, “Pop Bottles“, “Loyal“, “Right Above It“, “The Motto“, “John“, “6 Foot, 7 Foot“, “Steady Mobbin’“, “A Milli“, and more songs live.

Tunechi was also not happy with DJ T Lewis when he played “God Did” as the second song in his setlist, because Tune ended up forgetting some of the lyrics. After it had finished, he told T Lew: “I don’t f*ck with features my n*gga, I don’t do that sh*t. I’m a God, I don’t need y’all to play no features and sh*t”!
