Lil Wayne Settles His $14 Million Tax Debt

Lil Wayne Settles His 14 Million Tax Debt

Last month, Lil Wayne settled his huge tax bill of $14 million with the United States of America government.

According to The Blast, who received official court documents, Tunechi has paid off his IRS tax bills of $7,341,399.07 in 2011 and $6,853,545.77 in 2012.

More than likely Weezy has been able to pay off this debt from the eight-figure settlement money he received from Birdman and Cash Money Records last year!

Martin Shkreli Has To Forfeit Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” Album To The Federal Government

Martin Shkreli Has To Forfeit Lil Wayne Tha Carter 5 Album To The Federal Government

At the end of 2017, prosecutors asked the court in Martin Shkreli‘s legal case to retain Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V album, which he ended up getting his hands on by buying it off the person who bought Wayne‘s Bugatti as he accidentally left it in the CD slot.

Yesterday, a judge by the name of Kiyo Matsumoto ruled that Shkreli must forfeit $7.36 million to the federal government (Weezy’s C5 album, Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album, a Pablo Picasso painting, an Engima machine from World War II, $5 million in cash in an E-Trade brokerage account, and his stake in the drug company Vyera Pharmaceuticals) as part of his upcoming criminal sentence!

What do you think this means for the fifth installment in Tunechi‘s Tha Carter album series?

It looks like Lil Wayne‘s unreleased Tha Carter V album may soon be seized by the government.

Prosecutors have asked the court in Martin Shkreli‘s ongoing legal case to retain the album from Shkreli, as well as Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin project and a Pablo Picasso painting.

If you missed the news earlier this year, Weezy has already had his lawyers make sure Martin doesn’t play any music off C5. Click here to find out how Shkreli got his hands on a copy of Tune‘s album!
