Lil Wayne sat down with Megan Ryte for a new episode of “Impact” by Nightline over Lil Weezyana Fest weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In their conversation, Wayne answered questions like who he is in 2022, why he decided to open up about his mental health issues, not needing to go to therapy, speaking French, and bringing out a Make-A-Wish kid (Donavon Fitzpatrick) at his music festival.

“After the show, I was able to look him in his eyes and tell him [Donavon Fitzpatrick]: ‘No matter how many people were out in the crowd tonight, no matter how many people are standing to my left or my right on stage, it was you.'”

Weezy was also asked when is his Tha Carter VI album coming out to which he answered: “I don’t do the dates, because I record so much music. Mack and them… they just know, they just gon’ pick and let me know ‘oh this your new album'”. Mack Maine then appeared and said: “when it’s ready”.

Machine Gun Kelly has released a new documentary on Hulu called “Life In Pink” and there is a part in the doc about Lil Wayne.

Inside the documentary, MGK recalls what it was like working with Wayne on his Mainstream Sellout album and witnessing his recording process in person.

“I pressed play on the song, he’s like: ‘is that what we’re doing?’ ‘Yeah.’ He’s like: ‘alright, you guys got time?’ ‘Yeah, for sure.’ He goes in the courtyard, smokes fifteen blunts, he just takes each, his eyes are closed just playing the track over and over again. He comes back in the studio and we can see him in the courtyard, we’re just kinda sitting there amazed, like, that’s the G.O.A.T. forming his thoughts around a track that we made. He comes back in at 5:30 in the morning. He’s like: ‘y’all ready?’ He goes in the booth and he lays his shit like, one time. Just like, one time through.”

We have previously seen a 360 and a 2D trailer for Hulu and Live Nation‘s virtual reality show series “ON STAGE“, and now the full debut episode that features Lil Wayne has been released.

The show is all about giving viewers a closer look at music’s biggest stars and in this episode, we can get a closer look at Tunechi‘s life as the best rapper alive and a skateboarder.

Also in the episode, there is some great footage of Weezy performing live on his 2016 “Lil Weezyana Fest” in New Orleans and having a skating session with his homies near a river.

We previously saw a 360 trailer earlier this month, and now here is a 2D trailer for the debut episode of Hulu and Live Nation‘s upcoming virtual reality show series titled “ON STAGE”.

The very first episode will be featuring Lil Wayne and focusing on how he is a rapper, skateboarder and icon, so we can expect to see new footage of him performing live on stage and skating in the streets.

Lil Wayne will be featured in the very first episode of Hulu and Live Nation‘s forthcoming virtual reality show series titled “ON STAGE“.

The concert series will show off the new 360 degrees video experience while we see Weezy performing live on stage, chilling backstage, skateboarding with his homies, and more.

You can check out the virtual reality trailer in 360 below. The full episode will premiere on the Hulu VR app later this month on January 26th!
