Polo G recently visited the iHeartRadio offices in New York City for an interview, which you can watch below.
During the short conversation, Polo was asked to “name some of the artists that influenced your music” to which he mentioned Lil Wayne and explained his reasons why.
This is not the first time that the Chicago rapper has praised Wayne as earlier on this year in another interview, he also named Wayne as his main musical influence!
The nominations for the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards have been announced and Lil Wayne earned 1 nomination for his “Truffle Butter” collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Drake in the “Hip-Hop Song Of The Year” category.
This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards show will be taking place live from 8:00PM at The Forum in Inglewood, California on April 3rd. There is no word just yet on if Weezy will be in attendance.

On September 18th, Lil Wayne was a headliner for the 5th annual iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During his full set, Weezy performed “John“, “I’m Goin’ In“, “A Milli“, “Rich As Fuck“, “Bitches Love Me“, “Go DJ“, “Lollipop“, “Pop That“, “Loyal“, “Truffle Butter“, and “No Worries” live.

Tonight, Lil Wayne will be hitting the stage at the 5th annual iHeartRadio Music Festival, which is taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As well as Tune, other acts who will be performing live tonight are: Sam Smith, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney, Jason Derulo, Demi Lovato, Duran Duran, David Guetta, Disclosure, The Killers, and Kanye West.

The lineup for the 5th annual iHeartRadio Music Festival, which will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, has been revealed and Lil Wayne will be one of the headliners. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public tomorrow (August 1st).
As well as Weezy, other artists who will also be performing live at the festival includes: Kanye West, Janet Jackson, Sam Smith, Duran Duran, The Who, The Weeknd, David Guetta, Diplo, The Killers, Jason Derulo, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Disclosure, and more.
This year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival will be taking place over 2 days (September 18th – 19th) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and it will be streamed live via Yahoo! and iHeartMedia’s radio stations, as well as broadcasted on The CW Television Network September 29th and 30th!
