We first heard about this collaboration a couple of months ago when Logic revealed his official “Perfect” remix featuring Lil Wayne will not be released as his record label Def Jam did not want to pay Wayne for his verse.

And now today, the Maryland rapper’s “Perfect” remix, which also features A$AP Ferg and was co-produced by 6ix, FnZ and Keanu Beats, has surfaced online.

Logic Speaks On His Perfect Remix Featuring Lil Wayne & ASAP Ferg, Praises Wayne Verse

Last month, we found out that Logic has an official remix to his “Perfect” song featuring Lil Wayne that will never be released, due to Def Jam not wanting to pay Wayne his fee.

While on a Twitch live-stream, Logic spoke on this situation and said his record label are “being fuck-boys about it”. The Maryland rapper also says that his and Weezy‘s “Perfect” remix, which also features A$AP Ferg, is “one of the craziest records ever” and “Lil Wayne snaps”.

After calling Tunechi a “legend”, Logic even mentioned that he is not going to leak the collaboration because it is not fair on Tune not receiving his money. However, a short snippet has surfaced online. Check out both the preview and explanation in a video after the jump below!

Logic Explains Why His Perfect Remix Featuring Lil Wayne Has Not Yet Been Released

The good news – Logic has grabbed Lil Wayne for the official remix to his “Perfect” single. The bad news – it may never be released.

Taking to Twitter, the Maryland rapper quoted one of Kanye West‘s rants against Universal Music Group saying his record label Def Jam Records will not pay Wayne his money for the verse:

“I feel you, Def Jam ain’t tryin a pay @LilTunechi his fee so I guess the perfect remix aint coming out…. owe a few of my folks they money honestly.”

Perfect” is a promotional single from Logic‘s latest album, No Pressure. I have posted the original song below, so you can imagine how Weezy will have killed the beat. Maybe it will end up on No Ceilings 3?

Lil Wayne Appears On A Hip Hop Edition Of Mean Tweets On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Remember back in 2013 when Lil Wayne appeared on a “Mean Tweets” segment during Jimmy Kimmel Live and was called a crabapple? Well, Wayne has now appeared on a new hip-hop edition of “Mean Tweets”.

During Thursday evening’s (August 9th) episode of Jimmy Kimmel, the Young Money founder read another terrible tweet about him on social media: “Lil Wayne is what happens what when you pour Four Loko on a gremlin.”

As well as Weezy, this new “Mean Tweets” skit also included 50 Cent, A$AP Rocky, Eve, Pusha T, Big Sean, Remy Ma, Rae Sremmurd, Anderson .Paak, DJ Khaled, Trippie Redd, Tyler The Creator, Logic, Awkwafina, Lil Yachty, Wale, Ty Dolla $ign, Yo Gotti, and T-Pain reading out hate tweets about themselves.

Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla Sign & Logic's Sucker For Pain Single Featuring X Ambassadors Goes Triple Platinum

After going Platinum at the end of 2016, the RIAA have confirmed Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, and Logic‘s “Sucker For Pain” single featuring X Ambassadors reached triple Platinum status earlier this month on June 8th.

This means that the collaboration, which can be found on the official Suicide Squad: The Album movie soundtrack, has surpassed over 3 million in streams and sales since it was first released back in June, 2016.
