The nominations for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards have been announced and Lil Wayne earned 1 nomination.
Weezy was nominated in the category “Top Rap Song” for his “I’m The One” collaboration with DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper.
This year’s BBMAs will air live on NBA from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, May 20th at 8:00PM EST. Hit the jump to see who Tune will go up against in the category!
In the video above, you can watch a teaser for T.I. and Lil Wayne‘s upcoming collaboration called “Wit Me“. The official music video, which was directed by PhillyFlyBoy, will premiere Monday on VEVO at 10PM EST.

The names of the winners at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards are in and Lil Wayne has picked up a total of four awards! Billboard‘s awards show aired live on May 20th from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, but unfortunately no one from YMCMB was in attendance. Weezy won an award for “Top Male Artist”, “Top Rap Artist”, “Top Rap Album” with Tha Carter IV and “Top R&B Song” with “Motivation“. When Wayne found out about the awards he had won, he went on Twitter to tweet the following message thanking his fans, family, God and Billboard:
Billboard have just announced the nominees for their 2012 Music Awards, which will air live May 20th from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on ABC. Lil Wayne is a lead finalist at the event by receiving nominations in 10 different categories. His Young Money artists Drake and Nicki Minaj also received a total of 13 nominations together. Confirmed performers at the show are Justin Bieber, The Wanted and LMFAO. More performers will be announced in the next few weeks, so it is possible that YMCMB could be in attendance. Rolling Stone just recently announced that Lil Wayne has extended his “I Am Still Music” tour through the summer. Weezy keeps Rick Ross as an opening act, but swaps Travis Barker, Porcelain Black and Nicki Minaj for Lloyd, Keri Hilson and Far East Movement. The tour will hit 40 cities in the US starting in Hartford, Connecticut on July 13 and ending in Woodlands, Texas on September 11.
