Lil Wayne Calls In To Nicki Minaj’s Apple Music Beats 1 Radio Interview

Lil Wayne Calls In To Nicki Minaj Apple Music Beats 1 Radio Interview

A few days ago, Nicki Minaj sat down with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 Apple Music radio show for an interview and to premiere her new singles “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li“.

During their interview, Lil Wayne called in to chat about how Nicki has “changed the culture” and how a “whole gang of people” have followed her path.

Throughout the call, Weezy also had some other funny things to say about Zane‘s accent, not listening to anybody else’s music, and more:

“I just wanted to go ahead and let the world know that with the album cover art that the two Fs at the bottom of you know what are for Weezy F F. That was our way of letting the world know that we are a power couple. We got the motivation from the BlackPeopleMeet commercial.”

“‘Do you know how much I love you?’ Just show me tonight… show me tonight.”

“I’ll be waitin’ in the bed butt-naked, Nick.”

You can listen to the hilarious conversation in a clip and see the artwork Tunechi was talking about after the jump below!

Feature Friday #125: Nicki Minaj – Sunshine (Feat Lil Wayne)

Nicki Minaj Sunshine Feat Lil Wayne

I have chosen a Nicki Minaj song called “Sunshine” featuring her Young Money boss Lil Wayne for this week’s “Feature Friday” post.

The Daven “Prestige” Vanderpool-produced song, which can be found on the Barbie‘s Sucka Free mixtape that was released back in 2008, is a freestyle over JAY Z’s “(Always Be My) Sunshine” single featuring Foxy Brown and Babyface.

“Now let’s go, she with the boss and I’m the boss; “He the President, yeah she Lewinsky”, but we never get caught; And I could give her brain back, because I’m so smart; Fuck with my bitch and I’mma draw, like Picasso art”

You can listen to “Sunshine” below.

Lil Wayne Demands The Judge Sanction Birdman Over Having No Accounting Records & Tax Returns From 2011

Lil Wayne Demands The Judge Sanction Birdman Over Having No Accounting Records & Tax Returns From 2011

An update in Lil Wayne‘s ongoing $50 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records has surfaced and it includes Wayne demanding that the judge punish Baby.

According to The Blast, Tunechi filed a motion on February 21st to compel a presentation of documents from Cash Money relating to Drake and Nicki Minaj as Tune accused Birdman of misleading the court with not turning over the most important documents that he was ordered to produce.

Weezy added that the record label has made over $200 million in profit, but doesn’t have any accounting records or tax returns from 2011: “Unless Cash Money admits to criminal failure to file tax returns for 2011 to present, Cash Money must produce these returns.”

As of right now, the judge in the case has yet to rule on the motion. Also, February 21st is the day that Cortez Bryant revealed they are still fighting on a release for Tha Carter V! Coincidence maybe?

The #1 Stunna also had some stuff to say about Lil Wayne including how all of the tabloids are getting the story backwards about him stopping the release of Tha Carter V and owing Wayne $51 million.

However, Birdman revealed he can’t explain the situation as of right now but confirmed that at some point in time we will see both him and Weezy back working together again. You can see Baby‘s sit-down interview with Wendy Williams below!
