Similar to LeBron James earlier this year, Odell Beckham Jr. recently took to social media to show himself listening to a few classic Lil Wayne songs while traveling.

In the clip, which you can watch below, the professional NFL player can be seen bumping and rapping along to Wayne‘s “Tha Mobb“, “Upgrade“, “Knuck If You Buck“, “Told Y’all“, and “No Quitter, Go Getter” tracks.

If you didn’t already know, Odell Beckham and Tunechi have been close ever since OBJ walked out to Tune‘s “Ride For My Niggas” song during the 2014 NFL Draft. Since then, they have participated in an interview for ESPN together and the Cleveland Browns American football wide receiver also has a portrait of Weezy tattooed on his thigh!

During the 40-minute conversation, which ESPN released today, Weezy talked about the first thing that comes to mind when you mention OBJ, the most important tattoo he has on his body, what his darkest hour has been, “Can’t Be Broken“, the New York Giants, and says the situation with Birdman was just “straight confusion”.

Tunechi also opened up about the thought process behind the outro on his Tha Carter V album, “Let It All Work Out“, in which he says it was recorded 4 years ago. Odell speaks on what the first thing that comes to his mind when you mention Lil Wayne, why he got a tattoo of Tune on his leg, his own darkest hour of this year, the New York Giants, Eli Manning, and plenty more!

Lil Wayne Addresses Frank Isola & Eli Manning Over Their Comments About An Odell Beckham Interview

Lil Wayne has took to social media today to address all of the negative feedback about Odell Beckham Jr.‘s interview, who had Wayne sitting next to him, with journalist Josina Anderson.

The Young Money founder first responded to sportswriter Frank Isola after he was quoted saying “how can Odell Beckham be taken seriously if Lil Wayne’s sitting next to him?”. Weezy had the following to say:

“Frank, I actually like you when you come on television. You mentioned my name this time though and when that happens I’m going to fight back. You all know I don’t get on here to do this. I only get on here to do positive things and say great things. But Frank, come on, I don’t know much about you and the fact is, you don’t know much about me so with that said… keep my name out your mouth.”

“So to answer your question as to why should you take him serious if he’s sitting next to Lil Wayne? To answer that is because Lil Wayne is serious, and I was serious when I said keep my name out your mouth, Frank.”

The New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning mentioned “I don’t watch Lil Wayne much” when he was asked about Odell‘s interview and Tune was not cool with this:

As we are approaching Lil Wayne‘s long-awaited Tha Carter V album, I thought I would make a post of all the music artists, producers and athletes who have been recently teasing the project.

We have already seen Floyd Mayweather and James Harden promote C5, and now Wale, Iamsu!, Odell Beckham Jr., Cool & Dre, Metro Boomin, and Vinylz (produced “Believe Me” with Drake) have all hinted at the album on their social media pages.

We already know Lil Wayne is a fan of Tom Brady and has even referenced him in songs such as his freestyle over Eminem’s “My Name Is” off No Ceilings 2: “bitch I’m famous, like Tom Brady”, but we now know Brady is a fan of Wayne too.

During season 1 episode 2 of the “Tom vs. Time” video series that is titled “The Mental Game”, Tom Brady can be seen listening to Tunechi‘s Tha Carter IV album in his car after his team New England Patriots lost to the Carolina Panthers.

In related news, Odell Beckham Jr. (who is also a big Lil Wayne fan) shared a photo of himself on Instagram with a caption referencing a Tune line off “That’s All I Have” from No Ceilings: “Quarterback Weezy, young Tom Brady, open up ya mouth….”. Tom replied back with a comment saying the next line of the song: “And catch a bomb baby….. [trophy emoji]”.

Odell Beckham Jr. has tattooed a portrait of Lil Wayne on his body along with Bob Marley and a Sports Illustrated cover photo from 1997.

There is no details yet as to why the American football wide receiver decided to group these 3 things together, but the ink does look good.

The NFL athlete, who plays for the New York Giants, shared a photo of his new leg tatt on his Instagram story, which you can check out above.
