Jae Millz Thinks Back To When Lil Wayne Kicked Drake & Nicki Minaj Out Of Young Money

In the final part of Jae Millz‘ interview with The Bootleg Kev Podcast, he remembers the times when Lil Wayne kicked both Drake and Nicki Minaj out of Young Money for a day.

The Harlem rapper explained how Weezy used to punish his music artists and gave an example of how he made sure Lil Twist stayed at home during the “Bed Rock” video shoot after he got in trouble at school.

Millzy also claimed Tunechi never liked the direction of where Tyga‘s music was going, as well as revealed what plan Tune had for the Young Mula group. You can check out everything Jae said to Bootleg Kev below and watch previous parts of their convo here, here and here!

Jae Millz Recalls Lil Wayne Giving Him A Recycled Verse For “Holla At A Playa” At First [Video]

Jae Millz Recalls Lil Wayne Giving Him A Recycled Verse For Holla At A Playa At First

On episode 28 of The Bootleg Kev Podcast, special guest Jae Millz discussed everything from first meeting Lil Wayne to being signed to Young Money Entertainment.

In a clip from their interview, Millzy told the story of how he hit up Tunechi to record a feature for his “Holla At A Playa” single back when he had no record label deal to which Tune replied back to Millz asking him to go to his studio.

After Lil Wayne recorded the verse that night and charged Jae nothing for it, the Harlem rapper’s brother noticed Wayne had rapped this verse on another song before. This is why Weezy rapped the “Millz had to tell me to stop recycling verses and since I don’t write it, I recite it in cursive” line when he recorded a new verse the following night.

Also during their conversation, Jae Millz revealed to Bootleg Kev that he signed to Young Mula not too long after the “Holla At A Playa” remix, as well as recalled his reaction to when Wayne played him the “Lollipop” song for the very first time. You can check out what Millzy said in the video below and be looking out for more parts from the interview to be posted on LilWayneHQ.com soon!

J Prince Breaks Down The Story Of How His Son Discovered Drake & Brought Him To Lil Wayne

While on “The Fat Joe Show”, J. Prince broke down the story to Fat Joe about how his son Jas Prince first discovered Drake and brought him to Lil Wayne.

J. Prince revealed his son Jas was originally on tour with Tunechi because they all had a relationship and he had told his boy to not come home broke with all that access to power. After agreeing to start a record label with Tune that was 50/50, Jas told his father he wants the first music artist they sign to be Drizzy.

The Rap-A-Lot Records CEO wasn’t feeling Drizzy Drake‘s music at first (says it was too soft), but he told Jas to take Drake back on tour with you again and make sure Weezy puts his arm around him on stage. You can check out J. Prince share the full story in a video after the jump below!

Logic Speaks On His Perfect Remix Featuring Lil Wayne & ASAP Ferg, Praises Wayne Verse

Last month, we found out that Logic has an official remix to his “Perfect” song featuring Lil Wayne that will never be released, due to Def Jam not wanting to pay Wayne his fee.

While on a Twitch live-stream, Logic spoke on this situation and said his record label are “being fuck-boys about it”. The Maryland rapper also says that his and Weezy‘s “Perfect” remix, which also features A$AP Ferg, is “one of the craziest records ever” and “Lil Wayne snaps”.

After calling Tunechi a “legend”, Logic even mentioned that he is not going to leak the collaboration because it is not fair on Tune not receiving his money. However, a short snippet has surfaced online. Check out both the preview and explanation in a video after the jump below!

2 Chainz & TI Talk About Their Relationship With Lil Wayne, His Work Ethic, ColleGrove & More

A couple of months ago, 2 Chainz appeared on the “expediTIously” podcast to chop it up with T.I. about music, investments, T.R.U. record label, Atlanta, and more.

Just before the 30:00 mark, Tity Boi spoke on his relationship with Lil Wayne, how their ColleGrove joint album came together from Chainz wanting to give back to Tunechi after Tune gave him the “Duffle Bag Boy” hook which changed his life, and Weezy having a skate ramp in his studio.

Later on in their conversation (1:11:45) that you can check out below, 2 Chainz discussed Lil Wayne‘s work ethic. He also mentioned “Free Roscoe” at some point in this interview, which I find strange considering he is currently locked up behind bars for shooting at Wayne‘s tour bus!
