Papoose recently sat down with Vlad TV for an interview about his new “Thought I Was Gonna Stop” single featuring Lil Wayne that you can check out below.

In their conversation, Pap revealed how the collaboration came together including how he reached out to both Tunechi for the verse and to Timbaland for the beat, which he says they both showed love to him.

While talking about the “Thought I Was Gonna Stop” music video, the New York rapper also mentioned he has a “whole new respect for” Weezy for doing everything that he said he would do by pointing out how rare that is in the music industry today: “Big salute to Lil Wayne the G.O.A.T.”!

Grandmaster Flash uploaded a video of himself to social media not long after Lil Wayne was honored with the “I Am Hip-Hop” award at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards to congratulate him.

The South Bronx old-school hip-hop artist and DJ, who was presented with the same award back in 2006, called Tunechi “an amazing artist” and thanked him for the “Uproar” single off Tha Carter V.

As well as praise from Flash, the No Limit Records founder also shared a video of himself to social media not long after Tune released C5 to reveal he had just bought the album while “Can’t Be Broken” played in the background.

In the clip, Master P spoke about how this new generation have to salute the OGs before them to be successful and called Weezy “the best rapper that ever came from Louisiana”. You can check out both videos after the jump below!

During a recent interview with The Redhands Podcast, Gillie Da Kid spoke on first meeting Birdman and Lil Wayne, being an artist on Cash Money Records, and more.

Gillie confirmed that him and Weezy have no problems anymore and that he is open to work with him again. If you didn’t know, they had beef and sent shots to each other a few times during the years 2003 to 2010.

The Philadelphia rapper also explained that he feels Tunechi‘s pain right now and knows what he is going through with his current issues at Cash Money, as well as wishes him the best.
