Last week, Lil Wayne and Stevie Williams spoke to MTV while launching their TRUKFIT and DGK apparel at Macy’s in Los Angeles. Weezy chatted about his clothing line and where the name of the brand comes from.

“There was a truck that would come around the neighborhood for the less-fortunate people that can’t go to those stores, and he would have those same items — those Polos, those Tommys — for less,” Tunechi explained. “If you were known to have that outfit, then it was not called an ‘outfit,’ it was called a ‘truck fit.'”

“Me and Lil Wayne are friends. It’s not collaborated, but it’s a collaborated effort between all three brands: DGK, TRUKFIT and Macy’s. It’s a good thing.”

DJ Scoob Doo, who is Lil Wayne‘s videographer aka the guy who stole everyone’s money from pre-ordering The Nino Brown Story 3 DVD a few years back, will launch a new website next week showing exclusive footage of Weezy working, so we can all witness his amazing work ethic that I am sure most of us already know about. The project is called “Bread Over Bed” and in the clip above, Tunechi talks about the concept behind it.

“There’s no quit, there’s no stopping, there’s no such thing as a break and the best part about it is there’s no reason why, the reason is you. The reason why I don’t stop is because of me, the reason why I don’t sleep is because of me, the reason why I don’t take breaks is because of me. I don’t have to. It’s natural.”

Lil Wayne and professional skateboarder, Stevie Williams, have now launched their clothing lines in a popular department store in the US called Macy‘s. This means that you will now be able to purchase TRUKFIT and DGK apparel from Macy‘s stores, as well as from their online website. Weezy and Stevie both celebrated by making an in-store appearance at Macy‘s store in Beverly Center in Los Angeles, California on June 1st.

Brian and Eddie Boss from DFA, who are regular visitors of LilWayneHQ.com, also had the opportunity to meet Tune at the store on Friday. They said Wayne was really chilled out and in a good mood, which shows that he was excited about his clothing line getting sold in Macy‘s.
