On November 6th, Lil Wayne made an appearance at the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder basketball game at Moda Center in Oregon.

Weezy, who sat courtside with his homies Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby, was in attendance to support Damian Lillard and also rock a pair of the “Glow In The Park” Dame 4s.

Rick Ross Releases A New Song Idols Become Rivals In Support Of Lil Wayne Problems With Birdman

Rick Ross has released his new album, Rather You Than Me, and even though there is no Lil Wayne feature on the project, there is a song on it in support of Wayne and his current record label problems.

The track, which is called “Idols Become Rivals“, includes Ross rapping about how Cash Money Records are fake and how he isn’t feeling the way Birdman screwed over his music artists Weezy and DJ Khaled. You can stream the record below.

Rozay even shared a message of support for Tunechi on Instagram by revealing why he decided to make a track about Tune‘s situation and that the “streets” need him. Wayne saw the message and responded with: “dam big bro that msg hit me in the heart and put the motivation on automatik start. I needed that. 1 boss 2 another”!

Lil Wayne Appears On The Nine Club, Announces New Project Funeral

For episode 25 of “The Nine Club“, which you can watch after the jump below, Lil Wayne was the special guest and chopped it up with Chris Roberts, Roger Bagley and Kelly Hart for around 1 hour.

During their conversation, Weezy chatted about having Amazon’s Echo Alexa in his house, googling his net worth, why James Goldstein is a gangsta, playing Madden, FIFA and PGA Tour on consoles, supporting the Los Angeles Lakes and Green Bay Packers when being from New Orleans, and sitting courtside at the Lakers game with his son Cameron.

Tune also discussed how he first got into skateboarding, building his own skate park, getting noticed from fans while skating, working on a new video part, collaborating with other music artists, recording a feature every 2 days, how he got signed to Cash Money Records at such a young age, his deal with Samsung, who his favorite skaters are, breaking parts of his body while skating, Bumbu rum, and plenty more.

Towards to the end of the interview, Tunechi announced a new project called Funeral and let us fans know that there is currently no release date for it, but there is a lot of good news coming soon, so we should get our roses ready!

In a hotel suite after his “Gone ‘Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island” book signing in New York on Tuesday, Lil Wayne sat down with The New York Times for an interesting interview that you can read below.

During their conversation, Weezy spoke on not worrying about reliving his time in jail as he hasn’t read “Gone ‘Til November” and he doesn’t plan to either, releasing the memoir for us fans as we are being patient for his new music, recording guest features, not knowing the new generation of rappers, and explained why he hasn’t been attracted to activism.

Tunechi also talked about the Black Lives Matter movement, what he cares about, Donald Trump, his upcoming Tha Carter V album, being in the studio a lot, his recording process, fellow music artists coming to his support after his retirement tweets, and his situation with Cash Money Records!

Miami Police Department Respond To Hoax Shooting At Lil Wayne's Mansion For The Second Time In Just Over A Year

A few days ago on September 2nd, the Miami police officers were called to Lil Wayne‘s crib on La Gorce Island in Florida after they received a 911 call reporting there was a shooting inside the house.

Of course when the police turned up, they found no victims and it ended up being another hoax 911 call, which is the same thing that happened to Wayne last year in March.

After the incident, Tunechi took to Twitter to thank the authorities for always being alert. The MPD (Miami Police Department) responded to Tune on their own Twitter page by saying they are glad he is okay and thanked him for the support.
