Lil Wayne Responds To Louisiana Woman Who Claims He Is The Father Of Her 15-Year-Old Son

Lil Wayne Responds To Louisiana Woman Who Claims He Is The Father Of Her 15 Year Old Son

Last year, a woman named Keiotia Watson from Louisiana claimed in legal documents that she had sex with Lil Wayne back in 2001 and ended up having a son called Dwayne Brown with him. She even went to court in 2015 to file a paternity suit against Wayne to get child support.

According to The Blast, who have obtained new documents in the case, Tunechi wants a new trial in the paternity case as he is adamant he is not the father of the 15-year-old boy, because he is positive that he has never slept with Keiotia in his life. Tune even mentioned that he was never served with legal papers in 2015 and this is why he never showed up in court.

You can read exactly what Weezy said in a declaration after the jump below! Maury Povich has even reached out to Mr. Carter on social media to see if he can offer his services by tweeting: “@LilTunechi enough with this DNA drama. A DNA test is only a tweet away…Uncle Maury to the rescue! #YouAreNOTtheFather”.

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne just lost his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III over “The Carter Documentary”, as well as the countersuit Quincy filed against him.

Weezy filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III earlier this year claiming that he never gave him permission to use music off his Tha Carter III album for the documentary that Quincy put out called “The Carter“. Quincy also filed a countersuit against Wayne saying that he screwed up the potential profit of the documentary by withdrawing his support for it.

Due to suffering from two seizures, Tunechi did not make an appearance in court for his trial on the day he was supposed to. This then meant Tune‘s lawyer had to show the jury Wayne‘s deposition videotape with Quincy‘s lawyer, Pete Ross, and you all know how serious he took that!

The jury called Lil Wayne‘s behavior in the deposition tape “unreasonable” and “irresponsible”, and also ordered him to pay Quincy $2,195,000. Damn!

Lil Wayne Catches Legal Break As Judge Postpones Trial

Lil Wayne Catches Legal Break As Judge Postpones Trial

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly been granted additional time by a federal judge who has postponed his upcoming copyright lawsuit.

The decision was reportedly made in court yesterday (August 11) afternoon.

A federal judge has agreed to postpone a trial for a lawsuit that accuses rapper Lil Wayne of sampling another artist’s work without permission. U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman didn’t immediately set a new date for the trial that was scheduled to start October 26. The copyright infringement suit claims Lil Wayne failed to secure permission to sample folk singer Karma-Ann Swanepoel’s song “Once” on his track “I Feel Like Dying.”

His record label reportedly requested a delay earlier this summer.

Universal Music Group also is named as a defendant in the suit because the company allegedly had a hand in posting Lil Wayne’s song on a MySpace.com page where millions of fans downloaded it for free. Universal had asked Feldman for more time to prepare for a trial.

Weezy filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the “I Feel Like Dying” producer who, he said, was responsible for clearing the original song’s sample.

A lawsuit by the rapper’s lawyers says Rebel Rock Productions Inc., of Coconut Creek, Fla., produced “I Feel Like Dying” and was responsible for obtaining any necessary licensing agreements. Rebel Rock hasn’t responded to Lil Wayne’s claims and doesn’t have a lawyer named in court records. A telephone number listed for the company has been disconnected.

He was originally sued over the track in May 2008.

A lawsuit filed last year against Lil Wayne accuses him of copyright infringement for failing to get permission to sample folk singer Karma-Ann Swanepoel’s song “Once” in his track “I Feel Like Dying.” The song isn’t a track on any of Lil Wayne’s records, but he allegedly sings it in concert and has allowed fans to download it for free on his Web site.

PS: This is a completely different lawsuit to what we posted earlier 😉
