Mixed Martial Artist Daniel Cormier Talks Lil Wayne Tha Carter V Album, Reveals His Favorite Songs

A couple of months ago before UFC 230, Robbie Fox from Barstool Sports sat down with American mixed martial artist Daniel Cormier for a one on one interview.

If you didn’t already know, every time Cormier walks to the UFC ring for a fight, he comes out to Lil Wayne‘s “Right Above It” single featuring Drake off his I Am Not A Human Being album.

While talking about this in their conversation around the 7:15 mark, the former Olympic wrestler was also asked what his thoughts are on Weezy‘s new album Tha Carter V to which he answered “it was real good” and “worth the wait”.

Daniel went on to reveal that his favorite songs off C5 are “Mona Lisa“, “Dark Side Of The Moon“, “Dedicate“, “Uproar“, and even the “I Love You Dwayne” intro from Tunechi‘s mother Cita. You can check out their interview in the video after the jump below!

Lil Wayne Performs Believe Me As Him & Justin Bieber Walk Floyd Mayweather To The Ring

Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber accompanied Floyd Mayweather Jr. as he walked to the ring for his fight with Marcos Maidana at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 3rd.

While they were making their way to the ring, Weezy F Baby‘s new single “Believe Me” was played and Weezy rapped both his and Drake’s verses, which was dope. I guess you can also count this as the very first time that the song was performed live!

Hit the jump to watch the boxing match entrance. Tunechi will now be heading to TW Theatre for the after-party. Congratulations to Mayweather on another win!

Lil Wayne accompanied Floyd Mayweather Jr. last night as he walked to the ring for his fight against Robert Guerrero at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. While they were walking to the ring, Weezy F Baby rapped along to his “No Worries” single – most likely because of the “you see Money right there” lyric.

You can watch footage of Floyd and Tunechi‘s entrance after the jump below, as well as an interview Mayweather did after the boxing match with Tune standing next to him, plus a clip of Wayne laughing during the fight. During the interview, Floyd Mayweather Jr. thanks Young Money for their support and tells people to go get the I Am Not A Human Being II album!
