Polo G Names Lil Wayne & Tupac Shakur As His Two GOATs In Hip Hop

Polo G recently participated in a virtual interview with John Ochoa from The Recording Academy aka The GRAMMYs, which you can watch below.

While discussing his latest album, THE GOAT, Polo was asked who he thinks is the greatest of all time in hip-hop to which he named both Tupac Shakur and Lil Wayne:

“To me, arguably Tupac. That’s considering that he was before his time and he is the inspiration to a lot of great minds today. And then I could say another person like Lil Wayne just because of the long run that he had and being the best of the best for a long time, and just the influence that he had on a lot of great minds today. So those my two GOATs.”

The Chicago native also mentioned in their conversation that he grew up listening to Wayne‘s music! Would you like to see a collaboration between Polo G and Weezy?

While on “The Fat Joe Show“, Big Sean was asked by Fat Joe who are his top 5 rappers of all time dead or alive.

The Detroit rapper named The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Jay Z before then going on to list his top 10 with Rakim, Nas, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, and Outkast as one.

Last month, Shaquille O’Neal made an appearance on “The Fat Joe Show” to chop it up with Fat Joe over Skype.

During their conversation, Shaq was asked who are his top 5 rappers dead or alive to which he responded with:

“At the point guard you got Lil Weezy [Lil Wayne], at the shooting guard I got Em [Eminem], at the small forward I got Jay-Z, at the four I got Pac [Tupac Shakur], and I got B.I.G. [The Notorious B.I.G.] at the five.”

We first heard about this song last week, and now here is YG‘s “Blood Walk” featuring verses from Lil Wayne and D3szn.

The track, which was inspired by Tupac Shakur, appears on the Compton rapper’s new MY LIFE 4HUNNID album, due to drop at midnight tonight.

YG Announces New Blood Walk Collaboration With Lil Wayne

YG has announced he has a new collaboration with Lil Wayne on the way called “Blood Walk“.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music yesterday, YG revealed the song was influenced by Tupac and that it will also feature his artist D3.

The Compton rapper also mentioned Wayne sounds like he did back in 2006, 2007 and 2008 with his verse. It will be released on YG‘s new album, MY LIFE 4HUNNID, due to drop next week (October 2nd)!
