Kirko Bangz Talks Lil Wayne Influence From Mixtapes & Freestyles

Kirko Bangz recently sat down with Ashlee On-Air from 93.7 The Beat for an interview that you can watch in full below.

Around the 7:30 mark, Kirko was asked what he thinks about all of the “Top 50 Rappers” lists on social media to which he started to talk about how either Lil Wayne and Eminem would be #1 on his list, due to growing up on their music, as well as why it would not be JAY-Z or Nas.

The Houston rapper then mentioned he got into Tunechi‘s music from his mixtapes before revealing what his favorite tape and freestyle from Tune is. Before switching subjects, Bangz also discussed how Weezy would get on anyone’s beat and kill it!

On November 6th, Lil Wayne performed live during 93.7 The Beat and Bud Light‘s 2016 “Beat Bash” show at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Weezy performed “John“, “I’m Goin’ In“, “A Milli“, “Rich As Fuck“, “Bitches Love Me“, “Go DJ“, “Hustler Musik“, “I’m Me“, “Lollipop“, “Mrs. Officer“, “Every Girl” with Mack Maine, “HYFR (Hell Ya Fuckin’ Right)“, “Rollin’“, “Ride For My Niggas“, “Wasted“, “No Problem“, “Bandz A Make Her Dance“, “Pop That“, “Loyal“, “The Motto“, “Steady Mobbin’“, and “No Worries” live.

Also during Tunechi‘s 1-hour set, he brought out Bun B to perform “Draped Up” and “Get Throwed“, as well as told the crowd a story and told them to make sure they go out and vote for… Tha Carter V. Bun called Tune one of the “greatest rappers alive” too.

Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott, Yo Gotti, Ty Dolla $ign, and Desiigner are all going to be performing live at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas later today for 93.7 The Beat and Bud Light’s 2016 “Beat Bash” concert.
