Alicia Keys recently sat down with Ebro Darden for an interview on R&B Now Radio on Apple Music 1 to promote her latest album, KEYS.

During their conversation around the 22:30 mark, which you can watch below, Alicia spoke about collaborating with Lil Wayne for the very first time on “Nat King Cole“.

The New York singer also praised Wayne by calling him “phenomenal” and how no one should underestimate his “staying power”. She even mentioned later on in their convo that “Nat King Cole” is one of her favorite records!

Alicia Keys will be releasing her eighth studio album in a week and a half called Keys, and on the project will be a feature from Lil Wayne.

The collaboration will be titled “Nat King Cole” and it marks the first time Alica and Wayne have collaborated on a song together.

Are you looking forward to hearing this track on December 10th, which is when the Keys album will be released?

Lil Wayne has been announced as a live performer for the 20th annual BET Awards.

As well as Weezy, there will also be performances from Alicia Keys, DaBaby, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Summer Walker, Usher, and many more.

This year’s BET Awards, which will be hosted by Amanda Seales, will simulcast live on BET and CBS on June 28th from 8PM EST. Unfortunately, Tunechi did not receive any nominations at the awards show!

Mannie Fresh played an unreleased Lil Wayne song last night during his “Virus Killaz” Instagram Live streaming session that was recorded for the original version of Tha Carter V.

The currently untitled track, which you can listen to after the jump below, was produced by Mannie himself and samples Alicia Keys‘ “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready)“.
