Actors O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Pablo Schreiber recently sat down with J Cruz on Power 106’s The Cruz Show in Los Angeles to promote their new movie, “Den Of Thieves”.

Around the 17:25 mark of the interview, Ice Cube‘s son revealed who his top 5 dead or alive MCs are, which included Lil Wayne in his list along with his father, Eminem, Andre 3000, and JAY Z.

Professional basketball player Damian Lillard (who goes by the stage name of Dame D.O.L.L.A. in music) was recently asked on Twitter who his top five favorite rappers of all time are.

Even though he couldn’t list just five MCs and instead named seven, Lil Wayne was in his list along with Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Andre 3000, Jay Z, and Eminem.

Andre 3000 Mentions Lil Wayne & Young Thug While Talking About Influence At Phife Dawg Funeral

Andre 3000 was one of music artists that paid tribute to Phife Dawg at his memorial service, which took place at the Apollo Theater in New York City on Tuesday (April 5th) for 4 hours.

While at the funeral, Andre spoke on how Phife Dawg and A Tribe Called Quest influenced him and Big Boi to rap and create Outkast. He also went on to say how artists like Lil Wayne was then inspired by Outkast and then artists like Young Thug are being inspired by Wayne.
